- One good thing that came out of 2020 was a lot of us had more time at home to work on DIY projects. To end the year, I have chosen 20 of my best DIYs from 2020 and combined them all in one video. The DIY cotton stems and galvanized bucket blew me away; the cotton looks so natural and beautiful I just can't believe how easy it was to make!
I love that these are all Dollar Tree items. Crafting can be so expensive, it's great to see so many amazing idea using affordable items. Sometimes I really want to try some new craft ideas, but the cost is so off-putting. Knowing I can make these for a few dollars encourages me to try them all out.

Wow!! So many awesome projects and so many helpful hints that can be used in many different projects. And I’m only starting to watch like the 4th one of 20! I’d never known about transferring the outline of lettering by using chalk on the back of the lettering-so cool!

Love the diy's. Your tile table is beautiful! I loved all the holiday diy's. The tobacco baskets is a great ideal using wood tape. Loved the homemade cotton stems. The windmill shelving was great too.

Good afternoon everyone 😃! Just a suggestion in regards to using a hacksaw...pull the part that you are cutting close enough to the hammer or edge of a step so that you can cut comfortably (without nicking your knuckle) but close enough to the handle of the hammer. It will give more stability...this will help with the wiggle woggle of your paint stick 🙂. I hope that makes sense. I hope that everyone is having a beautiful day 💖❄!

I am new to your videos and I am so happy I found you. I have all year to do some of these. Home bound due to Covid. So I will have time to do some of them. I am totally in love with the stocking holders. I have a christmas village that I am repurposing them the are pottery do when I filled them with marbles they are a very good weight. All the creations are great Chantel, and Thank You for not rushing through the instructions. While some of us have crafted for years, others are new to it (Especially given current events) so being able to follow along is vital.
A tip when using grout, cement etc., wear gloves. There are lyes and other components in the mixtures that will severely dry your skin, and you do not want your body absorbing them. I have hands that can dig into anything, but when I make stepping stones, I always wear gloves.
Thanks for the feedback. I try to give instructions so that anyone can do the projects. Experienced crafters can always skip ahead. Great tip for grouting! I'm so bad about wearing gloves and I know I should.

all things very cute. a hit for drilling if u you put a bit of ur painters tape on and drill thru it then pull it off it will help with ur wood not splitting. learned from my husband. also works on putting nails or screws in dry wall to hang pictures

It's called Modern Love Grunge. I'm not sure where I got it though. You could probably do a Google search for it. I'm pretty sure it was a free download.

I really like the tobacco basket. I wonder if you could also use a clothes steamer. I know, there are different kinds. Mine looks like a little child's iron with a long handle. It shoots bursts of steam and you really don't even have to touch what your steaming. Believe me, it gets hot enough to melt glue. So, that may be a different option. 🤔 Great project!
