Man, I love your playing, You're not another clarinet player just playing notes. You are so musical and make the clarinet sing.
Very fresh approach to the 2nd movement I must say. Opens up a totally new understanding of the piece. It is indeed a duo in my opinion.
One of the best performances of this Sonata I’ve heard. Very song-like You’ve sung through the clarinet!
Bravo ! 👏🏼 👏🏼
Fabulous performance. All of the various emotions of this piece came through beautifully.
Parfaite complicité et musicalité hors paire. On ne s'en lasse pas
Bravo Joë ! Et Vincent !
It's Exelent!
One of the best new performances I heard. Wonderful tone on the Selmer Privilege model. Bravo! 👏🏼

Very great!!! But why is he over the grand piano at 5:28 ? His condence water from clarinet will go in the poor Steinway😶
My guess is that he had the pianist hold the sustain pedal whilst he played, then when he played in the piano the strings for the first 4 notes rang in sympathetic resonance so he got a subtle sustain sound.
This is the same reason you occasionally see harpists mute their strings in performances after a loud blast followed by sudden silence, even if they were not playing - the harp strings will resonate after the orchestra suddenly stop and you'll hear a 'ghostly' chord.

Die kommerzielle Art ist angesagt.....Viel Spaß!!!
Should've played it from memory. Missed opportunity.
Womp womp
I mean 99% of the performance he isn’t using his music 🤔 good to have it there just in case
You do it.
They don't always, but it is certainly happening much more often now than in past years. The "squat" for every entrance or accent is quite annoying.
