@@the1p412 mine did not have foam. But it didnt have a tow hook screw either. I installed my tow hook to the tow cap. I measured the towhook end and cut thru the cap and installed the tow hook then i just popped the cap back on and put gorilla glue around it. I had it on for 3 years and its still holding well
Most if not all usdm lancers dont have the thread there. I took the tow cap off and drilled the cap, placed the tow hook and then secured it back in. You can also drill directly thru the bar but i didnt like the look of it and preferred it with the tow cap on. Honestly its hard to explain. Ill have to make another video explaining it since a lot of people ask me about it. Iv had my tow hook on for 2+ years so the way i did it worked well for me.

@@the1p412 what year is your lancer? Mine is a 2015 with a evo front so it might be a bit different than yours
