I actually forgot I watched that right after Nate streamed LoU2 and thought it was really saddening how hard it hit him when Joel died. I totally believe him, you can see the wind knocked out of sails for like the 8 minutes he tries to keep going before ending.

The only time I've been apart of a leak was the Pokemon Sword and Shield Ben Affleck Leak, as it was a 4-chan post with a picture of Ben Affleck Smoking meme that reveled a lot of the new pokemon, as well as what the new G-Max forms would look and what the final starts evolution were like, as well as some details of the game that was revealed to all be 100% true as more trailers came out for the game. Also for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were an event called Mochi event was leaked on the last week of december due to datamine and I watched it full on RUclips, before it was open for everyone last week so that was fun.
I'm new to video games being leaked. I've never seen one before.
I try to avoid them altogether we will get Games, Movies and TV shows when we get them and not before through leaks or other BS aside from trailers
The Last of Us Part 2 is fascinating with how it is the polar opposite of the first game. Where the characters were so likable and interesting, the world so beautiful, the story simple yet complex, and mix of different emotions from beginning to end, the sequel is the exact opposite.
And the fucking kicker is that everything people argue with you about how the last of us 2 is an incredibly written game can STILL be applied to the first game which did everything perfectly fine in the first place. Like nah, the story in the 2nd game is just poorly executed
@@LORDdrPepperI'd say the worst thing about the game is the fact that they lied in the trailer by showing Joel being with Ellie but when we played the game, it was Jesse who said those lines and was with Ellie for that sequence.
I just realized why elon names all his companies x hes trying to create the ultimate gamertag also i think killing the hype around games is gonna hurt these companies but they completely deserve it for the bs we’ve dealt with half assed unfinished games for the past year now and people are tired of not knowing whats going on

I got very lucky with God of War Ragnarok. Apparently, the story got leaked a week before release, and I never knew about it until after I completed the game. Truly dodged a bullet

Leaks have to be the most annoying thing to see as a fan of video games. Nobody can be patient anymore. Like I get that people are desperate for information, but let companies deliver it as a surprise to make it all worth it. I guess with this age of the internet where people just post whatever they want and do anything to get what they want. It just ruins it for everyone else.
as for leaks I did download crysis 2's beta leak before the game's release and even some people tried to sell pirated beta leak like its the released game here

I feel like if you are hiding a feature of your game that you know people are going to hate then you have it coming. Game company's need to stop keeping important details from gamers just to get them in a gotcha moment. Everyone is tired of being lied to. If The Last of Us Part Two had been full on advertised with Joel being killed in the way that he was the game wouldn't have sold nearly as well and they knew it wouldn't. They do it on purpose to make money. They make shitty decisions and then refuse to live with the consequence's.
Tlou2 hate is so dumb because the reason why people don't like it makes no sense most of the time. Like people who complain about not getting a choice in the ending. It's ok to not like tlou2, but these people should at least have good arguments most of the time.

...... except a big problem with the last of us 2 is that it tries to desperately make you think you get a choice, and even tries to emotionally manipulate you during the gameplay buy making NPCs beg for their life. Just... no
@BlueGemGamer nothing you said made sense. Tlou2 never tries to convince you that you have a choice. Its the same with tlou 1. You cant make joel leave the hospital and not kill anyone. And you cant make ellie kill abby. Simple as that.
I think it's more that the 2nd game had characters with motivations that didn't align with the players, maybe due to having you play as 2 different characters that are in direct opposition, but what do I know
@@mrmouse9476 I guess from a general perspective, people were upset by the fact that the whole saga with Ellie was to hunt down Abby and get revenge for Joel. She killed all of Abby's friends in her quest only to spare Abby in the end. Everyone loved Joel and was disgusted by how easily he was killed off. They did set it all up, trying to make you think Ellie was going to kill Abby and were just crushed that you weren't allowed to make the choice and get the vindication.
@allainangcao28 it was obvious the message was that to heal from trauma, sadness, ptsd, and anger, you have to move on and from Joel's words, "you find something worth fighting for." So ellie not killing Abby was is not surprising. Especially since Abby showed what the true solution to revenge was, something she could fight for, in her case lev. That's part of why ellie didn't kill Abby. The second reason is that as she is killing abby, she remembers her conversation with Joel about forgiveness and realizes that it's not revenge she needs, it's forgiveness and let's Abby go. That's the message of the game. People try to remove the games' nuisance by saying it's just saying revenge is bad, which it does, but there's more to the story. If people don't like the story thats ok, but i don't like it when people misinterprete the goal of the game and gamers expect to get everything they want. And don't get me started on Joel's death. I agree that he died too early in the game. But I don't agree with people saying Joel's death was bad. It's makes perfect sense in tlou world. Most people don't get a happy ending in this world, even the good people, and joel isn't exactly a good person, so him dying abruptly makes sense. He wouldn't go out in a blaze of glory, nor would ellie or Abby.

I'll make a judgment for him then, as someone who never saw the leaks and played the game day one, the game is just NOT well written, I understand what it was trying to do but the execution was awful
Neither Nic nor Nate were criticizing the gameplay; just the story. You can criticize TLOU2's story without playing it. Just watch cutscenes or gameplays on RUclips.
