The best way i have found is with a lightning wyvern if you have access to scorched, their lightning attck does not damage the drop so u can spam that, and if alot of creatures are on the drop flap the wings to push back then bite. Plus they also do big damage
Use tek binos to lock onto the drop so you can monitor it, it will also tell you when your getting to far away from the drop. if you lose lock on the drop with the binos you are probably to far away

The offline raid protection will keep the metal spike walls invulnerable. This will only last until auto decay breaks the spike walls, then do it all again.

Ive got roughly 40ish hrs in extinction so far ive found one giga lvl 4 and one carcha lvl 9 both in the same spot ( the ledge overlooking the entrance to snow cave) everyone ive asks says they spawn outside snow zone
Don't get too far away from the drop, it'll despawn if you go too far away. If you only have 1 or 2 remaining just wait a while it'll spawn another one in and despawn the other to get things moving
Wouldn't Enforcers be better to use for the 4x or however much it is more damage they do to corrupted dinos? Im new to Extinction didnt get to play it on ASE cuz lag, so Im pretty new to Extinction all together.
They have 4x corrupted dino damage but never got the 2/3 damage reduction from corrupted dinos added with there very small hp pool makes them a gimmick at best
I used to place 3 behemoths around park 2 extra gigas inside to i can swap when the one that i would use would be low on hp. and an owl. corrupted on PVE wouldnt atk the gates and couldnt go in. Is this still working any idea?
I have a nitrado server for extinction on ascended and using two different methods of scanning for dinosaurs don't even show that carcha or giga can spawn at all on the map. is there a trick to getting one without uploading one from another map?
Snow biom on the outside. There’s 2 spots once u know them u just gotta kill dinos in the area and low level gigas and carchas to have more spawn in. Use Dino level mod so that rag level dinos spawn
Just an FYI he is showing you on pvp settings, it playing pve settings or playing pve, you do not need to worry about hitting the osd with the tame you do not damage it on pve only for pvp
@@ZUNKN0WNZHey, so if I turn on the PVE setting then it doesn’t allow me to kill baby dinos. You know when you want to level up your creatures by killing babies. Is there any way I can still level up my creatures on PVE mode by killing baby Rexes and Gigas?
@@Nightowl3581unfortunately no. I think babies should be counted as wild so that you can still take advantage of xp and auto farms in pve but that’s not how it works unfortunately. If you want to do osd drops they are much more difficult in pvp.
@@Nightowl3581you can still kill the babies, you just have to claim them first. You can’t use your Dino to kill it though, just use a sword or if you download mods, download the neuter/kill gun
I came here to see some smart tactic but i guess on single layer you spawn yourself 300 carcharo and milk and you say its easy loool. on offi giga are so rare with WC bug spawns ppl cant just get 300 carch. plus transfers are not open yet so your semi smart guide is for single player god mode players...

If it glitches and your playing singleplayer the command 'destroywilddinos' will activate the next round and kill any corrupted creatures.
wipe my map to fix the glitch :( that sucks imo
Yea I'm not waiting for the map to repopulate, takes far too long compared to looking for the stragglers
There is also a mod that was recently created for this issue
Also if your running the Dino finder you can search for corrupted dinos and it will show you were they are on the map.

Full hazmat helps with the fire
imprinted evo giga, fully armored 352 saddle and damage 9k per bite. its pretty easy.

We have had 1 level 60 carcha - we managed to tame a 264 tek giga but without imprint or saddle it’s weak

There's always one enemy left and if you go looking for it the drop despawns
The dino finder mod can help you find them

Can you actually find carch saddles on extinction?for the past 7 days ive been cycling osds and all caves and i can't find any
Yeah you can, either desert cave drops or osds
