Adding to this, comfort mod is to use the padding for the HD25 and just stick them on the headband. This one + that, I sometimes forget I have the headphone on.
I printed your mod, and I bought the earpads from Bose, and bro they sound amazing, I have noticed no change in frequency response. And very confortable! Thank you very much my man.
That is fantastic! Reminds me of filter step up rings on camera lenses. Seriously, there has to be a viable business opportunity in this! Well done sir.
So, I’ve had the hd250bt for a bit and thought the same. They were a little uncomfortable after longer listening periods. I went on the hunt for a 3D printer and the pads. I have just finished it and it’s so much better. I love the sennheiser sound and I am so chuffed with how these came out. They will not blow your head off with crazy bass but I love the neutral-ish sound. Thank you so much for this video, I have been raving to everyone about it and now people want to follow suit and do the same. It is probably the best budget set of headphones you can get and not with the pads, they have to be the best 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 if you have anymore little modifications, please post 🤙🏼
Hey buddy, I've been thinking about doing this addon for my HD250BT but I'm a little worried about the sound quality after I change the pads. Did you feel any significant change in the sound quality after using it for a time?
i made this kind of adapter for senheisser hd 25, superlux hd562 years ago, but it looks like i am not only one who is solving this issue. If you send me dimensions i can make you pair.
I've been using hd25's for 30 years and just brought the hd250bt for £15 from cash converters and never had an issue with comfort....its a sennheiser thing...
This is going to make me buy a pair cause there's a good sale and I have extra ear pads from another pair of senns I also need to fix (might have to edit your file some)
I just had these printed at a shop but they dont seem to attach to the headphones. Is my understanding correct that all 4 "notches" on the circular side of the part is meant to slot into the groove of the 250BT where the original earpads grasp? if so, then the part does clamp, but it is completely loose. as I an I can move it up/down/left/right and rotate it 360degrees while it remains attached to the headphones. its not fixed in place like the video seems to show after a "click"

have you solved this problem somehow?
Will this work with the hd 25 as well?
man thanks allot
Do you adhere the headphones with tape or do the Boseearpads snap onto the adapters?
Pads snap onto the adapters.
Nah... biggest issue is lack of headband padding... bought HD25 adhesive padding on ebay.
pla or petg?
