Claudia is a great host, she listens, gives insight and has great topics. This was a good panel today. I love Claudia's hair with this color blend and this was a great makeup look and outfit.
Insight. Totally different..no shade.
@@evanescenteuphoria8126 thanks I typed that on my phone. No shade taken.
Thank u!!
And a beautiful host also
I especially love how she never loses control of the conversation and is able to bring out as much as she can from each of the panel members.
This is why we as African Americans (and Afro Brits, Afro Caribbeans and other women of color around the globe in general) have to create our OWN opportunities and jobs (both in America and abroad). Most likely you will continue to be passed over by corporations that could care less about you in favor of other ethnic groups. I created my own companies last year for this very reason which I am working on growing now! We can make our own way with hard work and determination!
100%
Alma Chronicles You’re so right. No ones got our back but us.
So true, it's a shame no one including our own will give us opportunities. We have to be educated and entrepreneurial to create our own opportunities and be humble enough to reach back and help a sister when we make it.
We should cause all they do is steal our Shit! Then claim it as there own!
Tariq Nasheed wouldn't agree with your message. He believes immigrant blacks should not work with African Americans.
I think it's important to own but also bring others up with you! That's important!
Conversations like these are MOST NEEDED conversations. If you keep on speaking, they'll have no other choice but to listen! Great segment.
Claudia that look is AMAZING on you.
Indeed!
Corey Smith What? 🥴
Thank u!
When you eat at someone else table they set the menu
Exactly we be crying over the same shit.
pick me is black female culture
That's racist!
-black women.
That's why as a black woman...I eat at my own and create my own menu....Black people are responsible for some of the greatest menus in the world.
@@bnwo Lies and garbage!!! You are dumb af!! Moran!
I really enjoy her interviewing style
Kayla the narrative that she seems to support is the distinction and separation between being black and a black woman... to be honest black women are doing better then black men
The ending was perfect "We are becoming the very people that despise you" Therefore, we become our Oppressor for the sake of acceptance. This had me thinking about why our most visible gifted black men marry white women. It's the imagery of success rather than the development and improvement of a black family.
Lol when are black women not thinking about black men and white women. Y'all are perversely obsessed with black men and white women.
This is absolutely true. Protecting your PEACE is key.
Thank you Claudia!!
Great job Claudia! 👏👏
We’re to “threatening” I guess. 😒
That’s why we need to be our own business women.
This is a great topic! I've definitely experienced colorism among our people as well as others.
I agree with you Claudia, we unite temporarily when it comes to certain holidays etc. But we don't keep that same energy in the long run.
I started a natural nail care business "L'Marie Nail Lacquer" and while I've received some support from our black women/men (I am grateful for it), ive also come across skeptics that will try to pic apart the brand or undermine my efforts. It's interesting to say the least. We must support one another if we want to see any type of change.
Claudia's look is fierce 🔥🔥🔥❣
I love this show!! These conversations need to be had
When they start to realize it's not about being a woman it's about being black then we can start building
That's what I'm saying. They're sitting here acting like black men are the bell of the ball. It's funny how black females identity shift. One minute they're black, the next minute they're women. Then when it's convenient, they go back to being black.
Gender definitely is a factor! And maybe when we stop downplaying and dismissing each other's experiences then we can start building. These women have insights, stories and perspectives that we as men can learn from and need to hear...we can't improve our communities if we don't listen to and respect the individual voices of its members. Women's, men's, children's, light-skinned, dark-skinned, gay, straight, etc.--we can learn from our differences, we shouldn't ignore or reduce them. B/c THAT'S what leads to division.
@@ddacoe0 this is not a gender Pacific problem this is a problem that all black people face all over the world
So at the end of the day if you ain't black there's no need to talk
@@bnwo I see a lot of former feminist waking up to seeing that it wasn't a gender problem they were facing it was a color problem
@@wizzy1love Ok, I get what you're saying. Still, who am I to say whether being a woman exacerbates the problem or not? I honestly wouldn't know. But in either case...you can be a woman and black at the same time; I don't see how they identifying as women is taking away from black unity.
Lets be real, our ppl are hurting, light, Dark, purple, blue. We defiantly need to sit down on a regular basis to talk, organize
I know I’m not the only one to say out loud “she’s gorgeous!” when referring to Tamika J.
👏🏿👏🏿🌹🙋🏾♀️
She is beautiful❤🔥
Thankyou. There is pain on both sides. We need to not fall into the separation. We are sisters. That is such bullshit
Claudia is so talented
It is a setup to generate self hatred.... Let us continue to be as brilliant as we are. Yessssssss!!!!!
Claudia looks great here
Meritocracy is a myth, most wealth is inherited. So equating education to income is tricky. I bet Black women are doing better than their peers who grew up in poverty and did not inherit money. Also, student loans.
The more mature lady that stood up is spot on. Yall give her a chair and put her on the stage. 🥰🙌🏾👌🏾
I am soooooo proud of Claudia.
She doing an excellent job.
And, she looks so beautiful.
This is interesting content.
That older Black woman is on point.
We should not feel afraid to be amongst other Black people.
thank u!!!!!!!!!
Create your own stuff by getting with like-minded folks.
Great topic but it starts with the black man needs to respect themselves and our black women. If we can't hold our own people down why should others do it.
Others should do it because being the change you wish to see in the world brings about radical change! Thats the standard I live by and wish for the world. XX
I agree I have way more experience and dont get paid enough. SMH
2:53 "Pet to Threat" Speak on it Tamika!
I always said there should be another talk show like The Real and if there is Claudia should be on it. She'd be great
Awwww thank you!!1
fox soul pls put guest names in the description
@L.B.E. Vanguard grow up love my Queens
Most Black people are not colorists. Let's not perpetuate the narrative. Black women's insecurity is the real problem.
this was a good watch
Oh you gotta talk about when they say "Watch the Black girl" or " "Do it the way teh Black girl does it:"
Love this discussion. The micro aggression towards Black women creatives is real, sharp, rapid, painful, numbing. I just want to be free to express myself in way that impresses and encourages other women. The comment from the older woman with the twists is on point!
That older lady looked like C Tyson. She betta tell them. She dun toldt them. yes black woman!!!!
Passed up fo promotion...or you have Ideas, and they take and used it as if they thought of it and they are promoted from your knowledge...
That's a beautiful woman the host
They all beautiful
Damn... Saw the thumbnail and was thinking, "Damn, she's Fine..." I clicked it on to find out that's Claudia??? Wow... At any rate, I have a Canadian friend who took a gig as an instructor at U.S.C. He told me how there was a Black girl he wanted to hire and the staff was not having it, despite her qualifications. Now, being Canadian, they do tend to have more open attitude about race. He insisted on hiring the girl and they just came clean and told him, they *did not* want a Black girl. Being his Black friend, he told me the story and how shocked he was - at a prestigious University.
@ The racial dynamic in Canada vis-a-vis Black people is a bit different than down here in the States. The same aversion and fear of Blacks does not exist in Canada that exists in the States. I'm sure there are racist Canadians, however, in my experience with White Canadians, I've just always found them to be more open and welcoming to me and Black people in general. When I first met my friend about doing some business I never mentioned that I was Black on the telephone. I've had White Americans freak out when they first met me and they had no idea I was Black, however, my Canadian friend barely batted an eye. And for that reason he's remained a friend. So, when he went to hire this Black girl he was shocked by the attitude of the staff, because he *did not* have that same racist mindset. He just saw a girl who was qualified and didn't give a F*ck about her race. Also, don't come at me with the colorism - I like darker skinned Sisters as much as light and think the darker Sister is cute.
😭😭
Wow!!... “if all the WP went away we’d still have some of the same issues...”👀 How deep (and true) is that?!!!😳
Hair, hair, hair, hair.
Sounds like its more about racism than sexism to me. Why do black women conflate both issues as if they're both the same? Too much division between black men and women when we're both facing the same problem.
Elle D comedians are more prone to mock black women than black men? Sounds like BS to me....lol
I love my BLACK BEAUTIFUL women.
I love you too Sir🙋🏾♀️
Lol RESPECT
Good to see black women with natural hair for a change.
Lol
When Claudia had to explain who McEnroe was that is where I felt old lol. In all seriousness, black men who reach a certain level have to let young boys see that a black woman of all shades is desirable when they reach that rarified air in society. The majority do but the few that don't seem to be focused on way too much
The woman in the red and white is so beautiful.
Its called oppression. Its been 400 yrs & counting. This is y we need reperations.
That is what you call the jim crow effect.
Yes Claudia ! Indian Wells! # Serena
We as black people need to stop wanting validation from outside our race. Black people are BEAUTIFUL, AND VALID ALL BY OURSELVES. We need to understand that FOR OURSELVES !!!
Right!
We gotta let go of the egotistical mentality first. We're always fighting for a leading role...
Because what tends to happen is when we create opportunities other people with more resources come and dangle their carrot and some take it. That's why
Facts the wealth is in ownership yep black men have told you y'all the whole truth
@Elyse George yes we have you have not listen as always just like now but hey keep on going where many have failed the wise ones is on the list who made it while the rest keep thinking that foolishness dream

Claudia looking like a baddie!
Both light and dark get picked on and it all needs to stop
CLaudia Jordan i Never Hear Of Her Before i Never Saw Her Before
I just clicked on this because Claudia is fuckin gorgeous! ♥
Its very simple if you dont own anything, then you have to beg others to join what they have already established.
Cause you are more agreeable and don't negotiate as well as you should. And maybe employers don't see you as valuable as you see yourself.
We would've still made it here. The Black man/woman is global....from history to the present.
Kisha BeaL i Wasnt Saying That For Nobody To See Except For That Lady To See
It's a black and white issue always. Integration has not been good for our black health😕
Do black men have these conversations? They've become weak and black women have become the leading voices of black empowerment.

Interracial dating is fukin up our community!!
12:00 that's based on crime rate and property value.
The black community is far too focused on women.
There is no such thing as the black community.
Why do you say that love?
@@FlexNFly the use of the term is dismissive and lazy. It ignores the uniqueness of us all. similar to how people say Africa instead of the specific city they are travelling to.
@Nicole Llih right? Wth they talking about? Can we address some things and work on us?
@Nicole Llih I have seen N.w.a's comments. Therefore it's very very clear to me what they are implying. That went over your head but not mine. that troll is infamous for their ignorance. They are speaking about how female centric the so called black community is. by that they mean single moms on welfare.
