Shang Chi has single handedly carried all my questing and battlegrounds content and bright me from an early cav player to a mid throne breaker. His ability to toggle his util simply from a combo is unmatched. Bro can literally go unblockable from hitting into a block🤯
Mole Man not on this list is criminal. Evade counter, guaranteed crit, can shrug off debuffs, heavy bleed damage, great champ throughout most content areas. I thought he would make atleast top 5.
Not seeing stealthy get an honorable mention hurts my heart he has crazy damage and utility, also masacre just holds a soft spot for me and my favorite matchup with him is surprisingly one of the most annoying mystic defenders in ebony maw
I’m one of those people who took Zemo to R5 pre change, but I still love him. Although I do think tuning him down AS WELL as nerfing root is a bit overkill
Abyss is also outdated with its rewards so no one does it in 2023. Aegon is good, don't get me wrong, but there's a ton of skill champs who are a lot better in today's content. Stealthy, Hit Monkey, Masacre...
I think for Aegon they can just add an ability to his Special 1 that gives you a certain amount of seconds where your combo increases at a faster rate. Like maybe each hit counts for 2 in the combo meter for 15 seconds. That ramp up would be way easier.
it would be cool to see something along the lines of a prefight- set combo meter to 300, but cannot increase for the rest of the quest. or something along those lines to let him shine in shorter content, without making him completely broken.
Honestly, I'd take out Blade and plug in Mole Man in there who is both good in defense and offense. I'd put Valk in #4, because she's a defensive liability compared to Kingpin and Kate.
10:30 Another thing is that they began being stingy with the #Villains tag, with characters like Corvus and Sym Supreme not getting it despite being villains
Everyone will have their own opinions and you really can’t go wrong with any of the top 5 champions. Kate bishop is number 1 for me due to her insane damage in short, medium and long fights and her insane utility. Not many people will agree but I have been able to completely ignore or bypass so many annoying nodes and defenders because of her kit. She probably has more utility in her kit with absolutely no RNG in her kit. That’s what I truly love. I know exactly what’s going to happen when it’s going to happen.

ghost is bad on defence as well but gets top 1 , something about shangchi combos is so uniquely smooth where i always end up using him over other top skill champs, he is simple but always gets the work done for me
This ranking is bullocks it doesn't feature Black Cat in top 10. How the hell is it possible that Attuma could get in Crossbones can make it and not Black Cat it makes no goddamn sense.
I think the placement for Zemo is far too generous. I think champions need to meet a minimum damage threshold in order to be considered as a good champion and I think for most relevant content he is just very sub par damage wise. He has a great set of utility but takes far too long to get going. I don't think he is better than anyone on this list and I think there are plenty of others who aren't here who are a lot better than him offensively. But aside from that, great list lags keep the videos coming.
@@alecll493 One SP2 and 2 SP1s* for 30 bleeds and sometimes the AI randomly blocks so you might not be able to get 2 SP1s off. Also 30 bleeds with Zemo just don't tick for that much at all unfortunately.
Zemo is smart, and was designed to fight as such. His kit reflects his character. He wants to be underestimated by you guys. Time will show just how great he is

First of all i made the top 10 thanks Lags. Zemo is really fun for safeguard as well bcs of the bleeds that never fall off as well my second most fav skill in the game
How is this list good when it doesn't have my girl Black Cat in it, she is arguably better than any champ that aren't top 4. For me she is the no 1 champ but that's personal preference but she should still be comfortably top 5 in any skill class mcoc list.
Hey lags. Love the tier list, but the deep wounds argument is a little unfair. It takes over 5k units to unlock it including prerequisites like despair. That’s nearly 200 dollars or so much grinding for FTP players. Besides that, great content dude. Keep it up!
I agree personally I believe that Shang-Chi is 2nd best skill champ then fs Nick, 4* Shang-Chi carried me through all of act 5, then 6.1 as a 5 star, i really want to max him but then hell get banned in bgs 😅
I’ve been playing this game for about 7 years. Long before Blade came out and I still don’t have him! Not as a 5 star or 6! He’s my favorite marvel character and has been since I was a kid. I’ve actually still got the gem that I’ve been saving for him 😂
I TOTALLY AGREE with you about NICK FURY being the overall #1 Skill champ. He's my TOP CHAMP on my roster, maxed out @ sig 200, and now that I have ascended him, he's even BETTER. The BEST overall champ, FOR ME, in ANY CLASS. For OBVIOUS reasons. For those of you that DON'T KNOW... figure it out. IT'S EASY.
Some things from the video that at least I remember and not fully sure if im wrong. Crossbones before his rework still crit. His rework made him not crit anymore. I dont think anyone is degen immune, spider-ham and knull have resists degen as part of their kits but not immunity (unless im forgetting kindred does but they are new). Good list.
nah, i would only use sp1 with kingpin if i need defensive ability accuracy reduction. otherwise the sp2 is much better to throw off. at least if you arent bombarded with debuffs. because he ramps up from the sp2 unstoppable. his damage goes so much higher
I’m lazy to put deep wounds and I still love NF and he definitely the best skill champ even without deep wound his bleed still hits hard and with deep wounds it make it even better
... and if you go even further he'd come to the OG god of regen , Dr Strange, OG Thor the armor break+L2 one hitter, and finally the "perfect block teams.

Shang-Chi was my first r4 and my first r5 6*. I do think he's top 5 skill but I would put him probably 3rd on the list after Valkyrie because I quite agree he's a potato on defense. With Valkyrie at sig 200 she can get past unstoppable with 1 pierce while Shang-Chi requires the opponent to not be debuff immune to apply the slow.
9:19 domino massacre and red hulk was the next flaming trinity iirc , red hulk after the buff was insanely better . quantum trinity came out a few months later

I have crossbones r4 he is was aggressive than black cat and moleman. It's My personal preference and experience. Crossbones need more buff currently he deserves that spot. 9

i dont even have fury as a 6*. and i have not turned of deep wounds sinds i unlocked it. same with mystic dispersion. havent taken it off. but i also dont even have outchy masteries unlocked. i would barely or never use them anyway

With all due respect Lags, Kate Bishop's block proficiency being higher than Cap America is nothing compared to other things, like Nick Fury being MUCH better than Ghost Rider or Sentry, or Sunspot not being inmune to coldsnap/frostbite. It's not a good thing to go by logic in this game, specially in such little details like block proficiency

My thoguhts: I don't think Aegon belongs anywhere in this list. Just not relevant for 99% of the game modes. Kingpin ranks #2 for me. I think he's the more well rounded champ between him and Valk. A R5 Kinpin is just insane and he can get you out of a pinch on defense from time to time. Agree all day on Nick. Still the Skill god.

Nick fury requiring deep wounds isn’t a bogus excuse, not everyone can save 3,400 units or spend the $100 dollars to max out deep wounds, from your perspective yeah it sounds like a “no brainer” but for casual, it’s it’s not as common, even running 1 or 2 points in deep wounds hardly does anything for fury…
In my humble opinion, I think aegon should always be an honorable mention due to his strength but lack of viable content to use him in. Additionally, I think blade has no place on this list. Otherwise great overall

Valkyrie feels so good to use man, agree with the Quake comparison, it just completely changes how you approach any fight.

There's more to champions then just raw damage
He does not take long to get going. One sp2 and already at 30 bleeds. Rest of the fight its ticking and ticking.

Mantis does have top 10 damage, but she doesn't have as much utility as someone like Kate who has both.

The damage that Nick Fury does in his second life is insane!! Has gotten me through 95% of end game content just by reviving him a lil bit each time!

I think Kate's block is very high because she needs a lot of parries and heavies. Kingpin is also commonly used as a defender more than you think.

Eh. I mean when he can use his synergies. But he's worthless in Battlegrounds and any area you can't use synergies. The same can't be said for Blade.

I don't think Aegon belongs anywhere in this list. Just not relevant for 99% of the game modes.
Kingpin ranks #2 for me. I think he's the more well rounded champ between him and Valk. A R5 Kinpin is just insane and he can get you out of a pinch on defense from time to time.

I think you are overvaluing nicks defensive value and i still feel kingpin is better because of his versatility. In my list fury would be no4 but i get your placement

Nick fury requiring deep wounds isn’t a bogus excuse, not everyone can save 3,400 units or spend the $100 dollars to max out deep wounds, from your perspective yeah it sounds like a “no brainer” but for casual, it’s it’s not as common, even running 1 or 2 points in deep wounds hardly does anything for fury…

In my humble opinion, I think aegon should always be an honorable mention due to his strength but lack of viable content to use him in. Additionally, I think blade has no place on this list. Otherwise great overall

32:00 yeah , and a guy using karate and guns knifes like nick fury can stand above all kinds of gods in this universe .
Lags I think they gave Kate a higher BP because most of her damage comes from her debuffs.
