Hello, I'm Korean!! and the reason for the overflow is that I covered the lid to create a vacuum. You have to cover the lid slightly to the side to give you space to breathe so that it doesn't overflow, but if it's difficult, cook without a lid at all😊😊

I don’t know why but I prefer Shin Ramen over Buldak. Buldak’s too spicy for me to spot any difference from the other flavours, and the differences are so little that it’s irrelevant, just my opinion.

Same , I am now a vegetarian but since I’ve tried shin, it’s been my absolute go to comfort food . It’s just soo hearty and flavourful ❤ And actually my opinion on buldak is I think it’s just spicy and not really flavourful so i think shin makes a better meal . No hate tho, just my opinion ❤
Tbh I love adding Kewpie mayo to my Buldak. It adds so much body to the sauce and helps make it not destroy my tongue but doesn't change the taste too much

The main buldak noodles are pretty spicy for me too, so i dont use the full spice package. Shin ramen is my limit, so i usually use about 1/2 the buldak packages for the regular black package, and about 3/4 for the other flavours like the carbonara or the cheese.

I’m South Indian, I’m used to eating curry that’s bright red just from chili powder, believe me when I say I’m used to spicy food. But god, the spiciest thing I ever had was Korean BBQ. It was unbearable, I don’t know how people would subject themselves to that FOR FUN. There was no flavor (I tried to eat fries after and literally couldn’t taste anything) only pain.

Okej so my tip to you is that you need to watch the noodles the entire time and if you see that it starts rising, you stop the microwave to let them be for a bit and then you can start it again to make sure that it’s thoroughly cooked and it doesn’t overflow 😊

The first time I had the OG buldak noodles I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to use the whole packet and add other stuff, so imagine my shock when little white me with no spice tolerance whatsoever took a big bite LOL I couldn’t finish it hold down the noodles but seeing this flavor and people adding in cheese makes me want to be brave and try it again
eeekk it can be traumatizing for sureee if you don’t know what you’re getting into! i def recommend only adding a few drops and adding more ltr if you’re up for the challenge! and yes the cheese is suchhhh a good diffuser and it complements the spice so well

i’m wondering if that’s actually the texture of them haha! i’ve seen someone comment that they’re a little toooo chewy for them? the way i made mine was that i put in hot water and put it in the microwave for 4 and a half mins ish! where i went wrong was that you’re supposed to leave the lid on but only partially covering it! so half open :) i hope that helps!!!

Microwave with just water so if you need to clean up it’s easier. Then add sauces after. It tastes the same and the texture is fine.

Okej so my tip to you is that you need to watch the noodles the entire time and if you see that it starts rising, you stop the microwave to let them be for a bit and then you can start it again to make sure that it’s thoroughly cooked and it doesn’t overflow 😊
literally the only way 😭 it's so much more work but beats cleaning up at the end!

Idk if it's just me but I love spicy noodles I eat then all the time and I heard buldak noddles were so spicy and do was excited to taste them because spicy noodles are my favorite thing ever and when I ate them tbh they were like the least spicy spicy noodles I've ever ate the firework noodles are my favorite

The first time I had the OG buldak noodles I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to use the whole packet and add other stuff, so imagine my shock when little white me with no spice tolerance whatsoever took a big bite LOL I couldn’t finish it hold down the noodles but seeing this flavor and people adding in cheese makes me want to be brave and try it again
eeekk it can be traumatizing for sureee if you don’t know what you’re getting into! i def recommend only adding a few drops and adding more ltr if you’re up for the challenge! and yes the cheese is suchhhh a good diffuser and it complements the spice so well

i think you're not supposed to fully cover the container when microwaving, especially things containing liquid. Cuz it will pop or explode, and that creates the mess
omg it confuses me so much bc some packaging says to cover and others say not to 😭

Hi can you please help me! A friend and I bought these glass noodles but they always come out gummy and chewy when we make them 🙁. Do you do anything to cook them that would make them tast normal or??
i’m wondering if that’s actually the texture of them haha! i’ve seen someone comment that they’re a little toooo chewy for them?
the way i made mine was that i put in hot water and put it in the microwave for 4 and a half mins ish! where i went wrong was that you’re supposed to leave the lid on but only partially covering it! so half open :)

The only way to stop it from being a super spicy is to add milk and cheese. Even the light version of Buldak is super spicy
