Easily the most effective sidearm in the game. With spot flares active, clearing a house of two or three guys before they know you're there with this gun is a dream. The long reload forces you to be accurate and patient which helps your scout gameplay as well. Almost at my tenth service star with the Bodeo and I don't think I'll put it down any time soon.
I use the Martini-Henry and Bodeo 1889 together. Shoot long range with the Martini, close range with the Bodeo. Or maybe shoot close with Martini, finish with Bodeo if it doesn't score the kill.
I like frommer stop more with the vetterli but the bodeo I have 500 kills with it I have 965 kills with frommer stop
I think the peacekeeper and the Mars might be competitors
@@dylan9371 Using the Bodeo as a finishing weapon is great, or using it as a primary with a bolt-action as your secondary is also one of my favorite strats
i have to agree. im not sure exactly what it is, but its really damn devastating. the closest thing is the bulldog imo.
It’s the best all round pistol in my opinion. It’s good in medium ranges and close range and is a 2 shot kill with a fairly fast shot speed for a revolver and hasn’t a too long reload time. It’s also really satisfying to shoot with

The reload though
So what intrigues me about the Bodeo is that it is supposed to be a black powder revolver, but black powder leaves smoke (as opposed to modern smokeless powders). If you've ever seen a documentary or reenactment of conflicts from the American Civil War era or before, guns almost exclusively used black powder, and thus ejected a billowing plume of smoke from the muzzle. Some pre-smokeless revolvers would occasionally even release smoke from between the barrel and the active chamber of the cylinder, so shooting with black powder was - and still is, for any black powder enthusiasts out there - a very smoky affair. Anyway basically I was hoping to see a larger smoke cloud from firing this weapon in-game; it's part of what makes the use of such a weapon so distinct and cool on a battlefield dominated by more modern weapons; otherwise it's just another revolver with tweaked stats. I'm not saying that I think the end of the barrel should billow out a smokescreen like a smoke grenade or anything like that, but it would be really cool to have more than just the tiny puff of vapor seen in-game.
The Martini-Henry has the same issue. It fires a black powder bullet but doesn't leave much of a smoke cloud besides a little puff. It's still a good gun if you want to do a line battle with your friends or something.
Same goes for the gasser revolver

The Webley-Fosberry is the Medic auto-revolver.
The Mars pistol had 80 copies made, and were very rare.
webley is in the game its just labeled as mk 6

Russian 1895 Trench and Bodeo 1889 gang. This loadout is disgusting on Fort de Vaux with the flares. You will cowboy anyone down a hallway unless they have a Hellriegel

hey Kris I was recently playing the through mud and blood campaign misson and in fog of war I found the hellrigel storm variant in a weapon crate even though their not in multiplayer.
I think this may mean we could get a Hellrigel storm variant sometime soon as the huot optical is also in the campaign and even before the the huot optical came out in multiplayer.
What do you think about this?
