- For this game we're going another round with our commanders from Jumpstart 2022! We'll be playing Isu the Abominable vs. Mizzix, Replica Rider vs. Zask, Skittering Swarmlord vs. Preston the Vanisher.

I'm always very impressed by the game play, and the explanation behind the plays. Most importantly, each and every one of you do such a good job of explaining in detail how your spells resolve, and the way they interact with the stack - all the while making it all look so easy. 10/10 *chef's kiss*

i loved that storm line at the end to win. ive been seeing a lot of cool storm decks lately and it makes me want to make one myself. just not sure what power level to make one at.

Fun game! I did notice a mistake when Zask was cast the first time using BG instead of GG.
Nameless Inversion is a shapeshifter so it’s every creature type at all times so Negate wouldn’t have worked right?
Nameless Inversion has all of the creature subtypes, but isn't a creature card itself, so it would work :)
I love storm decks. Lightning bolt OP? Lol

What's his favorite storm commander and preferably least popular? He's so good at it.
Good question! I would say my "favorite" is Grixis Storm as it's my favorite color combination. However, if you're looking for least popular commander spice, I built a Jugan the Rising Star storm deck on a $50 budget that wins by casting Hurricane. Maybe I'll play it on the channel someday!

I'm not quite sure what the Canoptek Tomb Sentinel is beneficial for in a Zask deck
-Since it's an insect, you can cast it from your graveyard with Zask to exile a nonland permanent without having to unearth it. With a sac outlet you have repeatable spot removal for 4 mana-

@@stormincorbyn Nope, since it won't enter the battlefield from the graveyard. When you cast it with Zask, it's going on the stack and enters the battlefield from there, so it won't trigger. That's why I don't really understand why so many decks on EDHRec include it in their lists. Probably just a collective misconception on how it works? But that's why the Notes and Rules Information of Flayer of the Hatebound say the following: "If you cast a creature card from your graveyard, that card will be put on the stack before entering the battlefield. Flayer of the Hatebound won’t trigger. (2011-01-22)"

I like Preston The Vanisher, but is Mana Crypt even worth using? The deck is pretty mid.

We all played fast Mana that game though. I just drew into more of it because I drew more cards 😀. I will admit, top decking the jeweled lotus was pretty clutch
