MFP presents Top 10 Transformers G1 Vehicles. In 1984, a tv show was released along with a line of transforming vehicles and other items that changed history. No one could have predicted that almost 40 years later, what started out as a action figure and vehicle line from Japan would grow into the phenomena it was to become.
They were the some of the best looking cars and vehicles to roll out onto our screens and brought excitement on our screens for many growing up in the 1980s. They were the heroes you cheered for and the villains you loved to hate. MFP is proud to present 10 Transformer G1 Vehicles, where we look back at some of the most popular and best looking things on wheels and treads at the time. I'm surprised by 1. Optimus Prime being third on this list. 2. Wheeljack being number one and 3. Bumblebee not being included at all. My favorite character was Sound Wave; I absolutely loved his voice and the fact that he was never alone. When in trouble his cassettes would eject themselves, which made their appearance so much cooler in my eyes.

Funny thing, but I never watched the show as a kid. Never bought any of the toys, until my late teens. A friend was cleaning out the attic at his sister's place, and we came across an old military foot locker in the back corner, and decided to check inside.
As we were doing the haul away with my truck, and it was an hour to the trasfer station, drop off dor the land fill, he was providing food abs drink that weekend, and was covering my fuel costs. Lol. Broke college student life.
Ended up doing a trade. Foot locker ended up at my place, along with 2 boxes of gen 1 toys, and we split the Matchbox and Hot Wheels collection, left by a prior owber, dating back to 68. I ate the fuel cost, at 95 cents a gallon, working part time for $4.25 an hour. 38 gallon tank.
7 years later, when my wife and stepdaughter moved in, we were going through the boxes in the loft of my shop, and ran across the foot locker. Pulled it out, and took it on the house, and told her to ooen it, when she asked what was in it.
Full disclosure, her mom and I raised a tomboy, who is into cars, bikes, and things along those lines.
It made her year. We spent hours on the living room floor, playing with them. She even saved up her allowance, to buy the materials to build a display shelf, we did as a family project. Sat in our living room for years.
It now sits in her and our son in law's living room, waiting for their kids, when they decide it's time. And we both have the original tv series and movie as well.
And she has continued to grow the collection. Also has, and continues to buy vintage Hot wheels and marchbox cars as well.

I've gotten back into Transformers. I've got the original Tracks and reissues of Jazz, Hotrod, Soundwave and Starscream. I love them and glad to see most of them on here. Good video!

I never stopped as long as they were producing Transformers I've been collecting. I didn't get as many of the Beast Wars figures as the rest and I thought the Unicron Trilogy figures sucked but I'm loving these new G1 issues

Tracks is the Blue Vehicle. The Decepticon Female version Road Rage is the Red one.
