Agreed, on turn 1 stage 2 of cell max he took 455k from a super in slot 2, after attacking twice. A 3rd super he would have tanked far better. Only a handful of summonable units can tank stage 2 cell max for low numbers so it's a win for sure. Got mine 22 additional 17 dodge I think something like that. I have a gold equip for pure sayians that boosts attack by 900, I thinking of giving him that skill orb, a level 7 attack bronze and a attack +300 silver equip. 1900 extra attack he would have to be over 30 million easily.

No turn restrictions, doesn't need specific units on rotation to function, doesn't have obscene ki issues, guaranteed crit against extreme and SEAT against super... this is the best f2p card in the game now, and might just be the most usable Super Saiyan Goku standalone card in the game currently. This guy cooks.
i put together a f2p team with 100% LR Ver Z goku, 100% paragus, 100% kid trunks, TUR trunks&broly (no hipo, sa10), agl story mode SSJ Bardock(no hipo, sa10), and phy story mode frieza (no hipo, sa10) considering items are allowed to be used, even a team as underpowered as that CAN clear all stages with some difficulty, meaning this event can be farmed by even new accounts (i figure that will be extra true when the tutorial revamp comes out) and considering how good the unit is as a f2p lead, i'm very happy with this
As a part of version Z they want to make starting-units more accessible. It’s like the opposite of them making his original EZA locked behind 6 F2P EZA’s. Easy EZA farming for a wider range of folks
He’s a lot better than I initially expected, absolutely great for a f2p unit, can handle some big events on rotation and as a floater, obviously not the best but can hold his own very well especially with his damage numbers, guaranteed crit is great for any unit even when conditional to fighting extremes, he do be a paper bag outside teams with massive defensive buffs (don’t have phys trio) on my current testing runs, but we kinda knew that going in, “chance to guard” is a funny joke. Total 180 for my opinion on his SEZA before it came out, I absolutely pre jumped on the “he’s doa” train, but to be fair, it does sound worse on paper but his actual performance was very impressive. Not really going to use him any but he’s a good option if I need something like him now, so it’s always better than a dead perma-boxed unit to show off like a bug collection. But, all in all, they’ve been feeding us good with the free units lately, hope that keeps up cause the f2p units are obviously never going to be on the same level of busted as the power of money but keeping them good enough to contend with newer units after major celebration shaftening always feels really nice and I believe keeps a lot of people invested. Every upgrade can turn a nothing team into a powerhouse, plus, this is, as the man said himself, a great first step for the future of f2p units, just as with Bio Broly imo

2 runs vs Janemba, 3 runs vs Gogeta, 3 runs vs GB. results: Janemba never SAd him once in both fights and team won, Gogeta oneshotted him with a SA after 2 SA in a row + guard and GB killed him with a 900k normals after SA against him with 1 SA + 2 normals and no guard. He can do all the damage he wants but throwing a coin to do literally everything aside to support just kill the already poor pros he's providing, he'll just get dust as alwais but i love those 10 stones.
Yea I was never expecting a free unit to tank supers and Gogeta's normals hit for like 2 million after he supers. At least with guard Goku would've been fine against his normals I believe.
Additional/dodge since he has guaranteed crit/super effectiveness. For a bronze, depends what you'd rather. But either atk or def orbs, if your play style is full on damage and clearing asap, atk. If you prefer to play a bit safer, def.
