Hi there! The Microbrush does have water on it to cleanser the brow from the henna. We would not recommend waxing after using a razor due to the pours being open.
What a wonderful video! You definitely swayed me to purchase the kit!! ESP because we can use our PLA rewards on it! 🎉🥰 I have a question tho… when would we wax!? - before or after? I would like to incorporate it into my henna service. Thank you!!
Hey there, Caitlyn! We are so glad you find this video helpful! 🥰 We recommend waxing after doing the henna service. Waxing can irritate the client and you won't be able to use any soothing oil after waxing before you start henna. You would want the brow area to be clean and dry before you start the henna process. Hope this helps! 💕
From our understanding, the FDA and Customs is no longer allowing Henna beauty products into the U.S. due to the ingredients. Our product development team is eagerly searching for new products to bring in, but until we find a high quality Henna that meets the FDA standards, we will not be having a Henna product line. We're searching!!!!!! We love our Henna Brows!
Thank you for sharing the tutorial!! Now question, are we able to use the henna tint on lashes for lash lifts and tints?? And during which steps would you recommend doing the tint if you were to do eyebrow lamination also?
Hi Kayla, we are so happy this video is helpful! 💗 We do not recommend using the henna color on the lashes. The solutions are different for the service. We also recommend doing the lamination process before the henna. Hope this helps!
@@ParisLashAcademy For the brow lamination can the henna tint be used Before the service (couple days before?) or before during the service? Thank you!
Hey Amberlee, that's a great question! So, here's the difference. Henna stains the skin where hair growth is present. Tint only dyes the hair, when you first apply it, it will leave a stain on the area where it was applied but will go away after a day or two. Hope this helps!
I tried using my new PLA Henna kit but my henna powder has white little balls is this normal? I didn’t see them on the video. I have tried mixing longer and they don’t go away.
Hi Carmen! 💗 That's a great question and the answer is it is normal! The little white balls in the henna powder are actually the henna oxidant. You'll just have to mix it really well with our Ink Mixer and those little balls will disappear. 😊

Hi Gabrielle! Clients will need to return to get their brows “filled” every 6-8 weeks, depending on their skin type. We have seen oily clients have their brows fade as early as four weeks, but some client's brows last up to ten weeks! As for the aftercare, clients should avoid the following for 24 hours: touching their eyebrows, using saunas/steam rooms, hot tubs, taking hot showers, swimming, applying makeup to the area, or using any perfumed products. We hope this helps!💖

Once you have apply the first layer of henna on the brows, you can always go back to add more henna solution before the time is up. You can apply up to 3 layers in one session. :)

Is this real 100% henna? One company I looked up for henna brows had henna near the bottom of the ingredient list. PPD and PTD was nearer the top. The same irritants in hair dye. That people are allergic to and would want to switch to henna. I can’t find the ingredient list on the website. I did see a huge disclaimer with a warning that this product can cause severe reactions. I’m severely allergic to chemical dye as are a lot of people. People might as well use regular hair dye. What the heck is this. Sorry not directed at you but the people who come up with this operation. It’s like yeah let’s throw some henna in hair dye and start a fad , up our service prices. This is why people especially hair stylists come after henna because misleading people sell it with chemicals and hair professionals think it’s the henna. Someone make it make sense. I have to write something about this. A public service announcement.
Hi Tracy, thank you so much for your comment! 💕 Each of our henna colors has the ingredients and its compositions listed on the MSDS section of the product. Here is a link, for example, parislashacademy.com/collections/henna-brows/products/pla-henna-color-dark-brown#msds. Please direct your attention to section 2 of the MSDS. I also want to list the ingredients here for you. This is a list of ingredients for the Dark Brown color: Henna Powder, Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Sodium Percarbonate, Tartaric Acid, Para Amino Phenol, ParaphenyleneDiamine, Magnesium Carbonate, and Sodium Sulphite. As for your concern about the PDD and PTD, our henna is vegan and cruelty-free, meaning there are no ammonia-like traditional methods of brow coloring. Henna does contain trace amounts of PPD, some people may have sensitivities to this ingredient. The addition of this ingredient was necessary to improve processing times, give a longer-lasting result and neutralize warmth. The PPD that is in PLA’s henna is minimal when it comes to assisting with the purpose of henna and is nowhere near the amount found in traditional skin tattooing. PLA always recommends performing a patch test 24-48 hours in advance when performing services to ensure there is no reaction. I hope this answers your question and please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
