CFA Level 3 Practical Skills Modules EXPLAINED

In this video, Nathan describes the new CFA practical skills modules ("PSM") for the CFA Level 3 exam that have been added to the 2025 CFA Level 3 Program. The CFA Level 3 practical skills modules are: Analyst Skills, Financial Modeling, Portfolio Development and Construction, Python, Data Science & AI, and Python Programming Fundamentals. Note that the Analyst Skills PSM is also offered at Level 2, the Financial Modeling PSM is also offered at Level 1, the Python, Data Science & AI PSM is also offered at Level 2, and the Python Programming Fundamentals PSM is also offered at Level 1 and Level 2. If you have already completed a PSM for a prior CFA exam level, you cannot re-complete it to satisfy your CFA Level 3 practical skills module requirement.
