During the war many defense establishments were built near the Swedish border to prevent an eventual invasion.
The establishment was to prevent a military advance towards Glafsfjorden. This fortlet is one of the largest and best preserved in Sweden.
The fortlet enclosed about 30 000 m2 and all over there are well preserved devices.

What is Urbex?
The meaning of Urbex, short for “urban exploring,” is the act of exploring abandoned or off-limit objects in both urban and rural environments.
These objects are often no longer in use and can range from abandoned theatres to deserted mines ect.
