I'm one of the guys that tried to buy that car over the years, Harry the original owner was a super nice guy, he told me I could stop in for a glass of tea anytime, but anytime I mentioned about buying the car he would say no that he was leaving it to his grandson, and the way that car set neglected with so much dirt and dust on that car you couldn't even see in the windows the stuff was so thick, I told my wife whenever Harry passes his grandson will sell it and probably give it away, and I was right. But I'm glad it went to a good home but unfortunately it wasn't mine.
Cool story. I’m 33 and just bought my first mustang a 92 GT 5 speed. I’ve never own any mustangs and the fox body community is crazy awesome. Can’t wait to take it to car shows. Keep them good videos coming.
There's a yellow one down the street from where I live, the last people who stayed there was evicted years ago and left a Mustang that looks exactly like that to that white one, but it's yellow/ black and white with broken and chipped front bumper with yellow wheels not sure if they were painted or it came that way, but It's just sitting in that garage for the past 4yrs now.
Always loved these Saleen mustangs interior I put same seats in my 82 GT love it very nice ,first time I see one in person was in Florida were I was living at that time 89-91 35 grand back then it was bright red gray leather seats! 400 HP
Awesome video. I love this car. I see a black one sitting outside a gas station not far from me here in NJ! Thinking of asking about it. As for this car, keep it all original BUT i would have it professionally detailed. A nice buff and wax on the car along would be huge.
I’m working on my 93 mustang lx she is amazing needs lots of attention and work but praying that I can bring life back into her and make my dream come true ❤❤❤
Keep as is, although you really need to restore the original headlights...they'll probably buff out pretty decent with some Meguiar's cleaner wax or something similar...try 3m Machine Polish if that doesn't do it.
Man what a great story behind this car I would have been scared of getting stolen being out on the front of the guy's property like it was... I love these cars I want one so bad I really like the black one too that you did a video on and I would definitely keep it the way it is maybe do some new headlights and switch the wheels up so they don't get ruined or crack and then put those white ones back on for shows other than that perfect the way it is another great one Matt thanks a bunch for the content!!!
Hey Shifty, I was thinking the same thing about the wheels, best way to preserve them. I'm definitely glad it wasn't stolen. Thanks for watching all these videos.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Nice car. Keep the content coming. Hope you and TIFF have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT brother
I believe he should restore it, why not. The story will still be there. That car should be restore to new original condition, no mods though. Excellent!!
Hey Matt, what's up with the people passing behind the guy ? Man that got into my nerves, they couldn't find a narrower place to walk by.😄 It's always fun to watch your videos but I didn't know you drag race your car, I need to watch that one.😃👍
I have a dream that one day ill be in the back roads of rural NC enjoying a cruise in my Boss 302 or Fox. My son Maddox will yell Daddy there's a mustang and I'll look seeing a shelby or cobra Fox poking out from under a tarp under a carport. One day....
Every part of my being wants this car to be restored. However given the story, maybe it is best to leave it as-is and preserve the history/story. At least clean it up and maybe do some minor restoration touches.
Great video on my car. Thanks Matt! Also the bloopers are hilarious but it’s ON now. See you at chocolate fox for some fun. 😀
Thanks for doing the video with me man. Y'all be sure and check out his channel. LOL, definitely looking forward to Chocolate Fox.
I LOVE THEM BUT I HATE THE RIMS.

Thanks for sharing that. It's nice to hear he was such a nice guy. I definitely think Lance is giving it a good home.

Welcome to the club and definitely enjoy that 92!

Could be a great find!
Might be worth seeing what the deal is there. Maybe they don't know what they have.
I love Lance’s Saleen!!! Great video!!!
Me too!! Thanks.
Keep it like it is, great story!
Agreed.
Compound, polish, clean it up and leave it be. Great video Brother!!💪🏼🇺🇸
Agreed and JB's garage great to see you man. Thanks.
Nice video Matt!!
Thanks Frank.
I hope he doesn't go out at night. Those headlights have to be down to one candle power! Great story about the car!
I don't believe he has driven it much so far and probably not at night. I"m glad you enjoyed the story.
Yes. I too, tried to buy it years ago.
Oh wow that's way cool.
Good one Matt, I still say send that car to AMMO NYC STUDIO and let him do his magic !!
Thanks Tom, I had fun doing it.

The interiors really make it for me too. Flofit seats 😍
Leave it as is! Awesome story!
Agreed
Keep'em coming. Oh btw I saw the vert at Foxtober and it looks even better in person.
Thanks man, it's always great to hear when people like TarheelFox
I'm a Carolina fan so it jus speaks to me. I have a Teal Cobra and always wondered why they never built a vert version
Me too
Great video! Another Saleen with a great story. I would not restore it! Those people cutting through, 💯rude! Thanks Matt! 👊
Thanks, I hope he also keeps it how it is. No worries on the cutters, I just thought it was funny.
Take lots of pics of the SSC but restore that beauty. It deserves it being so few made. Do it justice
It's certainly a way to go. Thanks for the input Gary.

Thanks, that'd be cool if you are able to pickup that black one you spotted.
Great video guys!!!
Thanks Gary, it was a fun one
I’m working on my 93 mustang lx she is amazing needs lots of attention and work but praying that I can bring life back into her and make my dream come true ❤❤❤
Sorry for the late reply but good luck on your pojrect!
Keep as is, although you really need to restore the original headlights...they'll probably buff out pretty decent with some Meguiar's cleaner wax or something similar...try 3m Machine Polish if that doesn't do it.
Yeah I"m guessing he'll do something with the headlights. We'll see.
Good video matt!
Thanks dude!

Leave it as is! Its only original once! It's a sweet car thanks for sharing it
Matt awesome stuff love ya brother! 👍✌✌
Agreed, original especially on this one is cool. Thanks buddy.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Nice car. Keep the content coming. Hope you and TIFF have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT brother
Thanks Tim. Hope you have a great night too!
Leave it man! I would keep it OG ✊🏻
I agree.
Great video
Thanks so much!
Cool story awesome car I would leave it as is!!👊🏻
Thanks and Right on!
I believe he should restore it, why not. The story will still be there. That car should be restore to new original condition, no mods though. Excellent!!
Not a bad way to go.
I love this car!
Me too buddy!
Restore it with the blessing of the family to its original form when the guy first bought it
Not a bad way to go. We'll see what Lance ends up doing with it.
Hey Matt, what's up with the people passing behind the guy ? Man that got into my nerves, they couldn't find a narrower place to walk by.😄
It's always fun to watch your videos but I didn't know you drag race your car, I need to watch that one.😃👍
LOL, I was surprised by that too. Yeah man, I did used to drag race it a little bit (maybe 3 times). I have those videos on a playlist I think.
Im here champ
Jay C! Thanks man.
How about the Paul walker SSC
I don't know the story behind that one.
Now with Performance Autosport for resale IIRC,as was the SA10.
I have a dream that one day ill be in the back roads of rural NC enjoying a cruise in my Boss 302 or Fox. My son Maddox will yell Daddy there's a mustang and I'll look seeing a shelby or cobra Fox poking out from under a tarp under a carport. One day....
LOL, hope you find that one day buddy!
I say run it thru Purist Motorsports for restoration. All Saleens deserve it. Just my opinion.
I love Bob and Purist Motorsports
I would bring it back to its original glory .. restore.. but that’s just me
There is really no wrong way to go on an SSC.
New fomco lights leave the rest alone
Headlights do need something if he's going to drive it a lot.
No one loves that guy more than that guy lol
That car costway more money than those yellow headlight lenses aree worth.
LOL, i'm sure he'll doing something with the headlights at some point. It's possible it will polish out.
Do not touch it. Can only be original 1 time.
Right!
Restore it
I would also respect that for sure.
Cool car… I’d leave the car the way it is
Hey Mike.! Agreed on both points. Hope you are doing well buddy.
Great story. Leave the car as is. It’s only original once!!!
Right! Agreed.
Like the patina.. Keeping the patina on my coupe out of respect for the car and previous owner for looking after the car after 27 years of ownership
I love the Patina
Leave it alone no need to restore a perfect car
LOL, but I agree
I'd restore it to it's former glory for the new owner and he will have his own story.
Not a bad way to go.
Leave it, anyone can have a restored one.
Agreed
Every part of my being wants this car to be restored. However given the story, maybe it is best to leave it as-is and preserve the history/story. At least clean it up and maybe do some minor restoration touches.
I'm pretty sure that's the way Lance is going to go.
80s mustangs weren't worth shit a few years ago.
Time change I suppose.
Leave it alone....but ACTUALLY drive it please!
He has definitely done both so far.
Perfect! Just enjoy the car as it's meant to be. Love to see it
