Hi Fel, Next time when landing/take off, hold and close your nostrils and mouth and breath out heavenly, it will open up your blocked ears. It's a normal occurrence for some people when the cabin is depressurized due to sudden loss/gain of altitude.There is a narrow passage called the eustachian tube which regulates air pressure in your ear. When a plane climbs or descends, the air pressure changes quickly, and your eustachian tube often doesn't react quickly enough. This can trigger "airplane ear condition" to some individuals. You can also minimize the effects of this condition by having a nap during take off and landing as well.....Hope you enjoy your flight back to Nairobi.
