That arbor tech tool did a great job on removing the bulk , and the was a good idea too.
Is the finish suitable for outdoors use ? Thanks...

Thanks. My preference for finish for outdoor products is to use a high quality oil and re-apply often and make sure the wood is rot resistant, like cedar or white oak.
