Thanks for the video. I’m going to a hotel just behind this beach in the summer so was interested to see the beach and the planes coming in to land. Thanks also for the useful information on the prices. I’m not surprised about the taxi driver trying it on. I would have just given him the €10 also and told him to be on his way the cheeky so-and-so. My kids will lose their minds when they see the planes overhead like that!

Love it here and stayed at a hotel behind the beach. The taxis and buses for trips are a bit crazy what with seatbelts not working or fast drivers. To be fair, as far as I am aware, the people of Greece have been terribly affected by the Euro and are really struggling financially which I find rather sad. It must also be hard working in such heat.

Lovely beach, great resort. Hardly surprising though if you see an aircraft coming in. Its on the flight path, 10 minutes from the airport.
Stay at the Marelen Hotel, just 2 minutes from the beach, great hotel if a bit pricey now.
