I can’t even express how much I love this song, songs written especially to the fans have so much more meaning and love in them. The video gave me chills, I hope to go to a MIW show one day.

The ending of this song is genius. Honestly I've never heard anything so emotional as this. You can literally feel the lyrics he's singing - painful person trying to find a hope. I will likely play this song periodically until I die.
Yep, that's why I like bands like Killswitch Engage, Sevendust (Lajon is a awesome person), Fear Factory, and Chevelle to name a few. Pain has always been a friend at times and obviously a foe, a extremely formidable foe a few times in my life. There's been times that I didn't, couldn't, and wouldn't get out of bed, most times though, I used it as a fuel for the mind and accomplished some goals in life. The last 4-5 years has been some of the worst times in my life so far, I even slit my left wrist and the left side of my neck to end it all about 2 years ago. It turned out to be the greatest thing I ever did. It eliminated the depression that seemed to like to linger in my mind. It absolutely destroyed my desire for materialistic crap. It enlightened me about much, and through this enlightenment I learned about a sinister plot that was actually the reason for most of my personal problems and failings. The FEDs were watching me a lot and were actually sabotaging plumbing jobs before I even met the customer. Now they're trying anything to keep me from believing that they had anything to do with my situation.

I love how there disguise album is still being played so much and that they keep releasing music video after music video. It makes me so happy.
This album awakens all of the demons that I have locked up inside, all of the dark and intrusive thoughts I have had, all of the anxiety and depression I have been going through. This album helped me through a lot. When I was lost in the valley, when I was trapped in the veil of shadows, when I was at the last chapter of my life at the time, this album helped me find a code to override the virus that's been killing me. I will always love this album through thick and thin.

it's because the guitar & background notes in the chorus are almost identical. when i first heard this, i actually thought this was literally numb instrumental voiced over, but it's definitely its own song, just really really similar.

We've come a long way as a scene, but the fact that "live" music videos that don't actually have live sound are the industry standard still irks me. This band is phenomenal live and deserves to be heard.

@@thetastiestjam usually they'll play the song twice in a row as well to get the best live shots. Went to the video shoot for breeding violence from whitechapel and they did that and basically just told the crowd to get extra wild lol. Fun show
