    We have an Alliance 36 V 11 and it’s in the factory for warranty work and they were more than happy to let me film everything and anything. Their customer service and support is second to none.
    BUT YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK OUT Brinkley RV. They are better than Alliance. We did both factory tours and Brinkley RV are even better.
    Just a wee point, Alliance recommended that you only travel with 3/4 in your tanks.

      We almost bought a 36v11, but we decided to go with Grand Design, unfortunately. We really like that toy hauler floor plan! We have checked out Brinkley, and I even sat down last year with Josh The Rv Nerd to discuss that brand. He was very positive about the company and their product. Early on, Brinkley noted that they were going to be an "affordable luxury brand," but so far, their prices are some of the highest in the big manufacturers market. Hopefully, the high price tags will drop in the near future, and if so, we will definitely consider them..... It's interesting that Alliance recommended 3/4 tank full. I asked the lady who gave us our tour of Alliance, and she assured me that their tanks are rated to tow full (as long as the GVWR of the trailer was not exceeded). Interesting that they have changed their rating. Thanks for watching and safe travels!

    I AGREE!!!!! While our 2021 Jayco Pinnacle COVID CAMPER was at Jayco, we did many factory tours while in Elkhart. What else are you going to do, right? Alliance was BY FAR (We also toured Jayco, Keystone, Grand Design) THE BEST!!!! I just hope that they are not growing too quickly, but the quality was the BEST! When we did our tour, we had a couple getting warranty work done. Alliance allowed the couple to stay in their RV! Needless to say, Alliance will probably be our next RV.

      Thank you for sharing your experience. Alliance is on our list for the next purchase, too, but like you, we hope they're not growing too quickly. They seem to genuinely care about their customers, whereas most other manufacturers pull the wool over someone's eyes. Thank you for watching!

    One reason video not allowed is the class action risk. We have had two Outdoors RV a Creekside and a Timber Ridge. Dragged them for miles of gravel and washboard. We camped in -27 degrees Celsius with water out -15 degrees Celsius with water in all off grid. 25,000 k on Creekside and 40,000 k on Timber Ridge. One drip on pump after winter storage and a broken sheet metal screw on lower fairing. Tires replaced with Goodyear Duratracs no unusual wear on Endurance takeoffs just no good on ice. I worked in Northern Alberta and Arctic Fox and Outdoors RV are common rigs. Just our experience with Outdoors RV.

    I've got friends that have Alliance RVs and Bill Martin really makes the difference. I've seen him respond to people in the chat about their issues. I wish we had an Alliance.

    That a big kick in the face to Grand Design since one of there original founders left to start up Aliance. Think there might be some bad blood there😎😎

    GREAT VIDEO !!!!
    I own an Alliance Avenue which is a midpro version. It's been a great camper and we had a couple little issues but their service is SECOND TO NONE. You call, you text or email and your problems (no matter how small) are handled right away. The only way I would ever trade my avenue would be for a paradigm. That full body paint is beautiful.
    Love your channel

    Red Flag for Grand Design... Yeah! I can at least account for the Craftsmanship (or lack thereof) on my 2021 Reflection 278BH. Let's start with the incredible amount of sawdust found behind walls that I've had to explore, or the amounts that settle out of cabinet/wall joints every time I move the camper. Then we can move on to the numerous plumbing leaks, the window valances falling off the walls, the replacement of the entire Schwintek system on the only slide-out, the replacement of all tank valves and cables, there's more, lemme think.... And then, I saw how clean and perfect everything looked at the Alliance factory (on a different video). That right there, tells you something about Pride !

    We have had our Alliance Paradigm 310RL for 1.5 years. We have put over 20,000 miles on her and we have had some small issues but overall it’s been great.

    We were at an rv dealership few days ago to specifically look at grand design solitudes and alliance paradigm’s and alliance valor. We own a 36’ Jayco pinnacle but just not enough room and storage. The salesman kept stirring us to solitude saying it’s the best in the industry and that service centers love to work on them because easy to work with warranty wise. He told us that Thor bought alliance and it would not the good quality so we marked it off our list. I just looked up Brinkley and sounds amazing but not a desired floor plan as of yet. We are still searching because we want to make sure we buy high quality and customer service after the sale as well as an amazing floor plan no more than 42’

    I wonder if Alliance will ever make smaller rigs. We have a 28' Outdoors RV and we'd never want bigger since we just barely fit almost everywhere we go. We're not FT but we did spend 3 months in it this year over the course of 5 trips and we're a family of 4. Our biggest need is true 4 weather insulation since we camp in shoulder season and it seems like most trips the overnight low is below freezing. We've only ever owned an ORV and they're supposedly one of the best for insulation.

      They recently started making smaller TT toy haulers. They may start making other smaller rigs soon, but we can't say for sure.

    • @OmahaWayne

      They make all sorts of smaller rigs. In full profile they make them down to 30 feet, in Midpro (The Avenue) goes from 26' up to 40 feet

    I just found your channel and have watched this video and the one you did when you got your Grand Design back. I'm looking at buying a large toy hauler to live in. I've went back and forth between Alliance & Grand Design. Helpful video. Are you trading yours in on an Alliance?

    • @TravelsAbound
      @TravelsAbound  Год назад

      Alliance is definitely on the list when we purchase our next rig, but we don't plan to change anytime soon. I will say, after owning 3 Grand Design 5th wheels, this one will be our last. Thank you for watching!

      @@TravelsAbound Really can I ask why. I travel for work and have pretty much lived in RV's for 25vplus years. So I'm very interested in why you say that. I've never owned one but have heard good things about them. I just want to choose the best manufacturer out there. I don't care what it is. I'm in a Nash trailer now. But really need a large toy hauler.

    Yes when Maufactures say "Nothing We Can Do About That Is The How It Is Made" ( Seams Like A Flimsy Excuse To Me! )
    Just Boils My Blood!!
    When Yes it is how it is made is very True. But are not Willing to Listen and take note for The Future Builds. Change The Design So Unit Can Be Built Without That Flaw And Make More Happy Customers Down The Road!!!! With Out That Flaw!

    Well, huh, I wonder if there are other reasons besides a somewhat paranoid one? Maybe protecting proprietary processes from competitors? Maybe not wanting non-tecnicians to record something they don't understand and putting inaccurate information out? To prevent someone from accidentally recording and displaying new products under development or testing? To say that is a red flag is to not understand how competitive industries work.

    • @TravelsAbound
      @TravelsAbound  Год назад +1

      Hi Ross! That is a great assumption, but in this case, it's wrong. We have 3 videos on our channel regarding the repair process on our rig. They explain the poor and odd behavior of Grand Design that we and many others have experienced recently. To say we are "paranoid" or don't "understand" is a quick assumption without knowing all the facts of our side. We are all allowed our own opinion though.... Thank you for your comment. It helps our channel.
