Ya Muhammed | Nawa-e-Andaleeb

The term ‘Nawa’ commonly adverts to rhythmic sounds that conjure up emotions of bliss and joy. In the Persian and Urdu literary depictions, the term is generally utilised in relation to the buoyant singing and chirping of the birds. The Nawa-e-Andaleeb series will attempt to poeticise and kindle certain themes and concepts close to our hearts by furnishing them with strokes of music.

The Nawa-e-Andaleeb series opens with the musical composition ‘Ya Muhammad’ presented in celebration of Mawlid al-Nabi (SAW). The piece plays out through a Middle-Eastern style and brings together Turkish, Persian and Arabic expressions in the praise of the Prophet (SAW). Through the concept of inter-language harmony and combination of different musical cultures the composition highlights the elements of love and peace which constitute the essence of Islam and bind together not just the Muslims but entire humanity.

Persian Urdu and Arabic!! All mesmerizing and overwhelming languages combined together. Honestly, this track took me all the way back in history and I experienced the Arab History, The Sindh History and ofcourse the Faris History.
