Whoever made the decision that the five all have the same coral/peach hair for the disguise and the reveal is a godsent. They all look beautiful with that color on their unique hairstyles. Even S1 Itsuki's shade of red is my favorite, she looks amazing with this coral

I don't mind it being Yotsuba but she's my second or third choice alongside Nino but both are way behind Miku.

I said to myself before the movie that I wouldnt be mad no matter which girl won, and that while I would be a little disappointed if it had the same ending as the manga I said to myself I wouldnt be mad and that I was expecting it. And yeah, it ended up being Yotsuba just as I had been spoiled by manga readers and I'm not mad at all lol. I wanted Ichika or Miku to win, but the way they executed the ending here was so good and well written and heart warming that i couldn't help but shed tears of joy during the wedding scene and the ending 🥲🥲 😊😊 congrats to Yotsuba and Fuutarou!! 🧡👰🤵🤍
For me it's because I can relate to Yotsuba's issue of feeling like a burden and not like an adult. And I also love how the other quints don't jsut have a sad ending, but actually managed to reach their career goal. All of them had take brave steps and are so happy, even without marrying Fu.

Personally I'm glad it wasn't the obvious choice. Love triangles (hexagon?) usually to me aren't much of an appeal cuz there's always one who will obviously be the choice, or it could just end with polyamory. But here, I tortured myself waiting for the movie instead of looking up spoilers. All the quintuplets had a leg to stand on at some point. I was rooting more for Miku cuz I related to her, but when he picked Yotsuba, I literally screamed from shock and excitement in the theater. To think that the one who didn't try, the one who didn't come up with some convoluted scheme, won his heart just by being herself. I felt so happy for her and amazed I didn't see it coming after watching the anime again. I wish people weren't so harsh on this ending just cuz their favorite ship didn't happen. The author can do what they want.

I mean that’s great and all but the sisters all fell for Fuutarou for different reasons and while they all changed him bit by bit. Yotsuba always instigated the most out of him. She was the first to need him when he was a kid and make him change even though he didn’t know it at the time or for most of the series, she was the one who helped him get along with her sisters and pushed them to give him a chance, she’s the one who always made sure he had fun no matter what they were doing even going as far as to do the test of courage with him because his own class and her sister (Itsuki) left him alone with the job, and while she wasn’t the only one to agree when they were all in class 3-1 together that they wished that the rest of the class could see how great Fuutarou really was she was the one who volunteered herself to be female class representative and pushed him to be the male one so that people could see how good of a person he really was. In fact, he went from social outcast that everyone disliked to a great class representative with multiple friends and respected peers because of it. All them helped but Yotsuba was always the one changing him the most for the better.
Yotsuba seems like a lazy choice. Only in the sense they went with the destiny trope. She didn’t have to worry about losing because she had destiny on her side. Anyone who thinks that didn’t even pay attention to the signs right in front of you. All the characters helped Fuutarou grow, but most of them didn’t do anything significant. They all crush on Fuutarou for different reasons. Ichika: because he always supported her dreams. Nino: because he helped her move forward from the past and move forward to the future with her sisters. Miku: because he helped her become more confident in herself and find something she loved to do. Itsuki: because she couldn’t let her unresolved dad issues go and he helped her see that not all men are like her biological father. These are all reasonable reasons for the girls to fall in love with Fuutarou but to say that Miku or Nino should of won because they were developed more in their arcs is just as lazy. He had no real reason to love them back for the help he gave them. At least Yotsuba did something. Even if you remove the “destiny” thing such as her changing him when he was a kid from punk to studious high school student. She was the one who helped him with her sisters and get them to give him a chance, she was the one who helped him with the test of courage while his own classmates including Itsuki dumped it off to him without offering help. Even Miku didn’t offer to help him with it…none of the other sisters ever made plans just so Fuutarou could have fun ever single time it was Yotsuba. The only time the others cared was when something went wrong and they wanted to fix it. The sisters also in their 3rd year talked about how they wished Fuutarou was respected by his peers and that he was really a good guy at heart…who went out of their way to become class representative and nominated him as well? Who got him the respect of the other students and his peers and helped him actually make friends? Oh right it was Yotsuba. To say that it was lazy destiny writing is crazy considering the writer implied in volume 4 of the manga Nino recognized the boy in the picture and later on in Volume 9 or 10 that Ichika also spent time with Fuutarou that day in the hotel room. It’s actually crazy how little people paid attention.
Nah. Miku is just a corner of the painting. Get over it. Yotsuba has been hinted to be the winner ever since chapter one and shes the one who sacrifice the most out of them so why not her?
There are moments that the author showed that if there ever to be a winner, its not miku, she basically was handed futaro on a silver platter and she still wiemped out.
I was already disappointed by that series, and that choice to be her in the end reaffirmed it, is the most fucking lazy choice to be Yotsuba... Miku or Itsuki were better choices. But fuck it XD
