My Dad was my hero. He taught me to always believe in myself, to get up when I fall, to reach beyond the universe and always to be modest, honourable, to respect and value differences and to be kind and charitable to others. I lost him 5years ago aged 110yrs old. I miss him so much.
living alone can relate ....... the highlight of my life when my niece and her children visited me ..... When you are ill just having Children around make you feel better.,
Made me tear up so bad. I ended up remembering my late grandma. It's been three years since she passed away. I'm not asking for sympathy nor seeking for attention but at 15, my biggest regret was not visiting her when she was sick in bed with cancer even when everyday she'd ask for me. I knew she was dying but I focused more on my schoolwork. During the funeral I remember my uncle saying that she was depressed because of me. I, out of 4 cousins was I guess the favorite and she wanted to spoil me a lot. Some nights I still find myself remembering her and cry. To those who have sick loved ones, visit them before it's too late. Lower your ego, because who knows in the future, it can be the biggest regret in your life.
I've got a cold, so maybe am a bit more of a pussy than normal, my grandaughter is here for the summer, playing a game right now and has no idea how hard I am sobbing. It's the middle of the day, better pull myself together! Your Grandma was 15 once, I bet she understood. The only way you can honor her now is to keep her memory alive like you just did, (ha, ha, looks like 3 years ago, do it again sometime!).
NFB This is one of the best animations ever THIS REMIND ME OF MY GRANDPARENTS I couldn't still accept the fact that they are dead I been in depression for years now THIS MADE ME FEEL A LOT BETTER ♥️ YOU GUYS
What a charming piece. I felt for Bob in the hospital. Everyone talked (at him) but not too him. Maybe if they had sat down and talked too him they would have found out earlier his likes and dislikes, but most people are in too much of a hurry these days for that. Thank you
It touched me whole-heartedly. I thought of leaving my parents but I didn't know that it'd have a great impact on them. They're special and they treated us like an angel when we were kids. It's only natural to reciprocate what they did to us 😍😍😍
I just got out of the the hospital ( my appendix exploded ) I really when through hell for many days. Hearing people screaming and crying with pain every night was very horrifying. Unlike uncle Bob I was on bed with medications every day. I'm glad my nightmare is over! I didnt want anything to remind me the life in the hospital, but watching uncle Bob progress through the animation was very pleasing for me, because that's all you can wish for someone who is the hospital. To get better.
I can relate. February 7, 2019: I ended up in the local hospital with sepsis from a bacterial infection. 105.7F temperature. 8 days in the hospital, 21 days in rehab getting very strong IV antibiotic. If it weren't for my housemate visiting every other day, I would have had a worse time. It was a month before I saw my dog again. You bet I'm staying home during the pandemic! Stay safe and wash your hands!
Oh how Gorgeous And he's playing a harmonica He's so happy, seeing his grand daughter, giving him someone to love, ve lived by, share with, have laughter and joy, gave him a reason to care about himself again. His son and wife, daughter moving next door, to his lil home, so he could be home, and his family close by to enjoy and be there for him. That's what I wish for every senior.
It’s so touching. RUclips should recommend this kind of videos not about weird stiffs and the teenagers who were just good at tiktok but always get 0 percent in quizzes and exams. They suck.
This reminds me of my dad and my daughter. When he was going through some rough patches (thankfully not bad health) she was the only one who could make him actually laugh, same to this day. I honestly (and happily) believe they are each other’s favourite people lol
My Dad has been in the hospital with a stroke for three weeks now, he will be coming home in a few days. I can't wait to see him. Thank you for this sweet film.
I’m a registered nurse who works in a hospital and I would say this is pretty accurate to what happens to older adults who end up in the hospital for the first time in their lives. All of a sudden they can’t do things independently and have a laundry list of medications to take every day for the rest of their lives. It can be overwhelming especially if they live alone. Thankfully the guy depicted in this video had a good supportive family but a lot of the time that isn’t the case.
I wish most old people had families like this I know my dad is ok because I look after him now but I'm worried for myself I don't have any children yet and I'm 40 now and it's almost too late.
After about 45 I won't get to see grandchildren unless my child has children young and that's not the best idea in this day I would want my child/children to get a full education and a good job before having their own children
Nunca é tarde para abrir nossos corações a outras pessoas, tbm tenho esse medo,o amor é algo que construímos. Divida-o, não tenha medo, muito menos vergonha, de buscar a felicidade.
So many grapes ...it was a matter of time to to garbage like the apples... when im in the hospital im grateful... I always say thank you of those that take care of me... 🥰 and now with COVID 19.. 👏👏👏👏👏 NURSES DESERVE THAT AND MORE...
I suddenly remembered my grandfather.. Before he past away, he loved to cook my favourite meals. I still remembered the last smile he gave to me after I said that I will be sleep over at his house. May God bless him always
If only everyone could be near loved ones in their final years. So many elderly end up alone, sometimes abandoned by their families. Uncle Bob, in this cartoon, was very fortunate.
my grandfather on my mothers side died when she was young and so my grand parents andy silgle grandma live in mexico.i will be going to mexico next Thursday so this just makes me want it to come sooner
She woke him up to give him his sleeping pill! Funny cuz it's make believe and cuz it wasn't me. Wouldn't *that* piss you off? Most likely it would, right? (funny comments here too)♥
❤️❤️❤️ More like this in the real world please. May we all heal our hearts, forgive ourselves and acknowledge and honor our differences so we can be of better care to one another. 🙏🏾
I haven't heard "Oh how lovely is the evening" in more than 60 years but it took only a few notes for me to recognize it. Magical music and voices. Thank you, merci.
Its so nice to having a family But in the end father always sad for her dead wife Im happy for uncle BOB's son Cause he gave uncke bob good happy ending
Meanwhile, in the real world, Robert puts the dog in an animal shelter and sells his dad's house to pay the carehome fees and he and his family go back to their own home.

That little girls saying "grandpa" makes me emotional. I miss my nieces and nephew 😢
It's good for him he brought up a good son.
Aw, I do love a happy ending.❤️
When we connect our youngest with our eldest, the circle of life will be our wholeness. This is beautiful. ♥️
Yes it does!
There is no medication that can cure better than been surrounded by a couple of friends and people who cares about you. Beautiful and thx sharing.
I think being surrounded by a couple of my friends is one of the last things I'd want. I mean, back off, guys. Why are you around me all of a sudden?
Thats right...👍

this was a good video. it made me almost cry but it also made me happy to see the little girl and uncle Bob come together
Loved his dog, he got rounder everytime I saw him. Good ending Uncle Bob cooking his beans his way :-) Angela is good for him.
This is such a heart warming film......
Absolutely.... :)
This is such a beautiful film… such wholesome imagery and a message so kind… it made me feel well

Can’t see why! I think it’s beautiful! I’m an old bloke whose wife passed away in hospital several years ago.
Old is gold should spend time with all family
The bit with angela and uncle bob made me remember how my grand parents would love for us to visit them. Ah good old memories.
It touched me whole-heartedly. I thought of leaving my parents but I didn't know that it'd have a great impact on them. They're special and they treated us like an angel when we were kids. It's only natural to reciprocate what they did to us 😍😍😍

And they lived happily ever after...
I wish that I was uncle Bob. 😊
Very beautiful, cried my eyes out when he left the hospital. I wish my grandfather could have spent his last days like this.
