How... the HELL... can anyone be legitimately scared of any horror movie from the 80s?? They're all AWFUL and none of them are scary. Because, generally speaking, they're all slashers. Slashers have nothing but jump scares and an overuse of the blood budget.

@@7531monkey Oh, I've done PLENTY of research. More than I wish I'd done. Nightmare on Elm St. Friday the 13th, Halloween, Hellraiser, Child's Play, the Evil Dead. The only one that was legitimately unnerving was the FLY. And that's because it wasn't a slasher. And Aliens.
