I like what Keegan talked about in her video. But… as a doctoral student who’s experienced both sides of the coin, your attire matters and I tell my students this all the time. Depending on career goals, aspiration, expectation; I’d suggest trying to dress up a little for class and when I say dress up (casual jean, nice t-shirt or top). Nothing fancy but helps with career and educational experience later down the line.
Academic advisors tell what classes to take but made me feel like 5 classes was normal but it was too overwhelming of a load and I couldn't keep up. Love your advice!
i totally agree about walking to classes. i go to asu west so it’s not huge but everyone walks everywhere and we all dress so casual i see people in pjs and others in cute outfits. everyones just living life 🧍🏻♀️

Another quick piece of advice for parties that my friend gave to me. Obviously don't accept a drink from someone that you don't know or if you didn't watch them make it, but also don't take a drink from ANY open container. So if a frat made jungle juice in a large pitcher/self serve cooler don't drink any of it unless you see members of the house drinking it too (or just don't drink it at all). It's really easy to add daterape drugs to premade drinks like that.
It’s so hard when you’re a commuter like me and also introverted I’m in my junior year and still don’t have any friends. College is amazing besides that I use up friend time for studying and I always have my online friends :)

We had blackboard too. It wasn't the main issue with the college. My college wasn't good for so many reasons. 😕 I'm actually looking for another one.
