ARIELS VILLAIN SONG | Part of your World cover - Minor Key | The Little Mermaid 🧜♀️
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 19 авг 2022
- It’s another Disney Princess as a villain! And this week we have Ariel singing ‘Part of your world’ but as her villainous awakening.
Story -
Ok so, we meet Ariel 3 years after the events of the little mermaid film except Ursula won. Ursula has married Eric and Ariel has no idea that the women Eric married is Ursula in disguise and he’s under a spell. As far as she is aware Eric shunned her for another women.
Ariel is now under Ursulas curse as she wasnt able to uphold her end of Ursulas deal and remains under the curse for 3 years until King Trident discovers a way to release her. Whilst under the curse Ariel becomes more and more bitter towards Eric and all humans, blaming them for her misery which slowly turns her heart darker and darker.
Upon her release she embraces the darkness, her cave now full of things she has stolen from sailors shes drowned but it isnt enough. Now more siren than mermaid she hatches a plan to get revenge - she’s gonna steal her fathers trident and become ‘part of their world’ except she plans on dethroning and killing Eric, taking over and forcing the humans to obey her every wim. No longer will mermaids be treated as monsters, she ‘wants more’, she’s ‘gonna see them dancing’ for her and watch them ‘burn’ after what was done to her. it’s their time to take over now and Ariel will stop at nothing until every human is forced under her rule.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my villain series!! I’m gonna take a little break from Disney princesses turned villains and record some other things but will defo bring this series back in the future!!

Evil Ariel can take over my town any day of the week 🧜♀️❤️
Yes she can
Beautiful job on this song! It's gorgeous! ✨💖
She a8nt evil she’s just now a siren
Ohohohoho yes she could
Mhm anytime
She was sick of being overlooked by her kingdom. No one payed any attention to the youngest daughter of King Triton until she was missing. Until she didn't show up to a performance. Until she disappeared into the care of her aunt Ursula, living on the outskirts of the kingdom.
Ursula and Ariel's mom were the only ones who ever truly cared about her, and everyone from the the Arctic to the Indian ocean knew what happened to King Tritons wife.
After she passed, Triton began to neglect his children, especially Ariel, as she was so young that he had not yet formed an emotional bond with her. But Ursula always made sure Ariel had someone to confide her emotions into.
Under Ursula's care Ariel grew up to become a sea witch, an enchantress of such, and went under a multitude of alias's. She seemingly had everything she could have ever wanted. A loving caretaker, items of material value, and power. But the power wasn't enough.
With her power she could turn someone into a mindless slave, she could turn them into fish food, or make them fall in love in the blink of an eye. And while she wasn't a fan of destruction, if she so wanted to she could cause major underwater earthquakes and volcano eruptions.
She had *everything.*
And she had nothing at all.
She had power, but she had no power over anything meaningful.
She was never destined to be the queen. She was the youngest and least talented of all of King Tritons daughters.
And now that she was an outcast who was presumed dead years ago, there was no returning to her kingdom to claim the throne, even if she had been given a chance to begin with.
But there was another option.
She could go up to the surface, where the people had legs instead of tails, and feet instead of fins.
It was incredibly dangerous, as the humans made sport out of slaughtering her kind.
So as always, Ariel confided into the one person she trusted, Ursula.
Ursula granted her the ability to finally leave the confines of the cold, salty water, on the condition that Ursula got to keep Ariels voice for safekeeping so she wouldn't slip up and say anything that would aloud to her fishy nature.
The terms were completely reasonable, but Ariel was wary of the fact she wouldn't be able to properly interact with the surface-dwellers.
In the end she begrudgingly accepted her Aunt's offer.
After that her memories became a sewn together haze of losing her voice, and soon after her tail and fins, and finally she could hardly breathe.
She awoke with her brain in a foggy haze, only being able to focus on the face in front of her, a pale skinned man with dark wavy hair desperately checking to see if she still had a pulse. Next to him was an equally as anxious creature (who was likely only worried because it's owner was freaking out) with gray and white shaggy fur covering its eyes.
It took her a moment to register her surroundings. She was on a vast beach with a group of seagulls looming nearby. She was covered in sand and seaweed, with her hair tossed in twenty different directions, piling atop the sandy dunes.
*She made it to the surface.*
Oooooooo, love this, it's amazing!!
Part 2? This is so good!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
We need a whole story of this!
@@loadstar4055 agreed
*Imagine instead of random trinkets and objects in her cove there are coffins, weapons or maybe even human corpses in it because she got VERY obsessive with becoming human that it twisted her mind into collecting grim items*
or maybe this version just turned Ariel into a siren 👁👄👁
Briiiii!!!!!!!!
Or, she collected artifacts from burials at sea.
I mean, bad enough that she collected wreckage from sunken ships, but if she was seen lurking after dead sailors...?
It would could be really cool. Imagine if she was dissecting them on that rock of hers. She would need a weapon to repel sharks.
Would you you like to be 🎵 part of my woooooorld?🎵🎵 *gestures ominously at pirate skeletons*
Maybe she started with collecting artifacts from sea burials as a way to better understand humans, then developed a fascination with collecting the bodies, and finally decided to gather her own specimens by luring sailors to their deaths. You’re right, that would make a really interesting (admittedly dark) mermaid to siren story!
My lead-up to this song:
After saving Eric from the shipwreck, Ariel took Eric up onto the beach and sat with him. Little did she know, her father had followed behind upon seeing the flaming chunks of ship floating over into his kingdom and having known of the thunderstorm that raged the previous night. Knowing what had happened the last time one of his family came into contact with a human ship, he went personally to go out and find his daughter.
Seeing his youngest child so close to a human that could have killed her (and that she was singing to him about wanting to be together) enraged the sea king, so he summoned a giant tsunami which flooded and destroyed Eric’s ocean-side kingdom.
Many human lives were lost, including the poor prince, who was swept into the sea without ever knowing what had happened. Ariel was devastated, trying to save her newfound love even through the raging storm her father had caused. Eric tragically drowned, even through poor Ariel’s efforts to try and keep him above the water. Flounder was swept away into the vortex during the chaos and disappeared, never to be seen again.
Furious, the distraught princess confronted her father and denounced the crown; fleeing into the dark reaches of the ocean. Here she found Ursula, and initially begged the sea-witch to take her in as an apprentice.
Ursula didn’t approve much of Ariel, as she was a child and still a naive princess in many rights. But she said yes anyhow, intending to simply use Ariel to take revenge against Triton.
Ariel was much more intelligent than Ursula had originally bargained for, and over time she grew to really care for the young mermaid and included Ariel in her plans for taking over Atlantica, teaching her more and more powerful spells as time went on.
The song takes place one day as Ariel longs to turn herself human, so she can escape from her life as a failed princess once Ursula is on the throne and her father has been imprisoned for murdering hundreds of innocent humans.
Ursula’s dark magic has corrupted her some, but she has yet to battle the sea-witch for control of the Trident; which will be the true test of whether she’s still pure and good as she once was when saving her true love.
~ Hope you liked my long comment! This song was so cool that I just couldn’t help writing my own twisted storyline for the Little Mermaid. I like to think that the eel in the background is Ursula’s magic personified, which is slowly gaining hold of Ariel’s mind. Thanks for reading this far! ~
Dang this is amazing. It should be a crime that this comment doesn't have more likes.
Love this idea!
It totally makes sense too!!
This is such a cool idea! It’s such a shame it only has a few likes, but who cares? This is amazing!!
Amei ..

This really remind me to the Twisted Disney Princess' series that once was popular both in Wattpad and Deviantart, how amazing to see it alive again in this form through your own talent and gorgeous angelic/wicked voice of yours. Such a hauntingly beautiful performance, captivating and alluring.
it's a real book series now! just in case you didn't know!
@@redriot112 You mean, "A Twisted Tale'?
@Celeste Primose Mhm. It's a series written by Liz Braswell, Jen Calonita, Elizabeth Lim and more recently Farrah Rochon. There are currently 12 books, with four more set to be released between 2022 and 2025.
I said the same thing on arabian nights!
@@redriot112 I have most of them actually! And I'm going into grade 11! I love the series lol
The way she sang “burn” was so powerful
It's giving Regina George ("World Burn")
Actually, I once read that in the first draft of the movie they had Ariel as Ursula (who was her aunt) apprentice and sounded cool as hell. This songs brings so much imagery in relation to that plot. The movie would have been ten thousand times better.

Whenever Ariel sings, her evil powers get strongers, that would be a really cool trope if Disney ever decided to make an evil princess
As someone who grew up on shows like Batman Brave and the Bold and Beast Wars, yes to bad girls. Disney needs to get on it now.
Все совершенно было не Так!!!! Я знаю эту историю как было на самом деле. Нет злых сил и чар у Русалочки. И звали ее не Ариэль

When you decide to end your break, I'd love to hear your Colors Of The Wind villain arc for Pocahontas. It would mean the world to me.
I’ve had lots of requests for this!! May just have to do it…

2:18 THIS RUN IS EVERYTHING!! Gave me chills the whole time, LOVED IT! ❤️❤️❤️
EMMA THANK YOUUUUUU
Fun fact: in my language (French), we use the same word for "mermaids" and "sirens". Both are called sirens ("sirènes", to be exact) and we don't imply any difference, seeing them as the same creature. I feel that makes "evil Ariel" even more believable.
wow never imagined that this song could sound so evil but so good at the same time. id love to see a bunch of disney princess's get villain makeover! you voice is sooo good🤩
Thank you!! I’m defo hoping to do a bunch more after I’ve had a little break from these, back to some other songs in the meantime
I’m so excited for this, I think it’s realy cool when old songs that aren’t in minor key get put in minor key so I’m excited to see what it sounds like 👍
Thanksss
I've never been a fan of Ariel but you've changed it today. It sounds absolutely amazing ❤️
Evil Ariel is a whole other kettle of fish 😉😉😉
As I'm playing the equivalent or Ursula in a Christmas pantomime then I also don't like Ariel 😂
I always thought of Ariel as a petulant child, even when I was younger than her. But if she was a twisted psycho, it would have been a cooler story.
Love the idea of Ariel of taking Ursulas power after she dies so she can find a way to revive her love after he dies from.crashing his ship and slowly corrupt her mind with sea magic.
Oooooh v interesting concept
I like that idea. But if she manages to revive Eric will he be the same or will it be like a pet cemetery situation where something else comes back instead of Eric?
I love how with nothing but your tone you managed to make all three princesses you’ve covered such different types of villains. Ariel is the scorned, vengeful villain who’s full of rage and ready for payback, Jasmine is the arrogant, power hungry girlboss who laughs while the world burns, and Elsa is the passive, sorrowful villain who never really wanted to hurt anyone but was in so much pain she couldn’t help but give over to her dark side.
Or maybe I’m just over analyzing. Either way, amazing job!!
I love how with nothing your tone you managed to make all three princesses you’ve covered such different types of villains. Ariel is
I love the concept and story you made up. My only gripe is if Ursula married Prince Eric, and Ariel didn't get the kiss she needed, then how did she turn back into a mermaid and how is she not one of Ursula's little plant things? I think maybe it would be better if she kills Vanessa and/or Eric in their sleep, like she has the chance to do in the original story only here she actually goes through with it, and then by killing Ursula that breaks the spell and turns her back into a mermaid, only Ariel doesn't know why that happened, and from there your story happens.
You are so right - I’ve changed it a tad to make more sense :)
@@LydiatheBard Nice. Although I still feel like stabbing Eric in the back, literally, from the get go is the way to go, but that's just me.
So I um- showed this to my sister whose favorite princess is Ariel- NOW SHES OBSESSED WITH THIS VERSION- THANK YOH SO MUCH FOR GIVING US THIS MASTERPIECE-
AAAA THANK YOUUUUUU
SIREN ARIEL! SIREN ARIEL!
You have no idea how long I have waited for this concept. Absolutely stunning
I’m just imagining Ursula being her mother right now…or even her Aunt taking this little mermaid under her tentacle and raising her to be a true badass. Now we need Ariel to sing “Poor unfortunate Souls” an I’d be so content
Lydia i am literally obsessed with your voice it's STUNNING and we can't wait for another amazing masterpiece
AGHHHH THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!
That "Burn" (and everything else) was so so good 😍🤘🏻😭
Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has everything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Looking around here you'd think
Sure, she's got everything
I've got heartache and sorrows aplenty
All this dreaming, and what is it for?
Watch them hope, while I haven't any
Well I'm done,it's my time
I want more
I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'
Walking around on those, what do you call 'em?
Feet
Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumping, dancing
Strolling along down the, what's that word again?
Street
Up where they walk, up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free, wish I could be
Part of that world
What would I give if I could live out of these waters?
What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand?
Bet'cha on land they understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women, sick of swimmin'
Ready to stand
Ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions and get some answers
What's a fire and why does it, what's the word?
Burn?
When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above?
Out of the sea
Wish I could be
Part of that world
2:19 THAT WHOLE PART GAVE ME CHILLS!!! I love your voice and your performance was perfect!!!
This is all the more proof that you can get people to care about the villain as much as the hero, and in some cases, more than the hero. You just need to make them connect with our desires, be it good or bad, and make the character passionate enough to do everything they can to claim their desire no matter what.
You did a great job! I subscribed immediately! Thanks for this!
2:19 HOLY SHIT GIRL YOU GOT THEM VOCALS ✨✨
Never have I been so invested in a villain arc for a Disney Princess, very well done 👏👏👏👏
DAMN minor key is so much fun!!! Your voice and the way you sing the lyrics creates a whole new story, can't wait for more. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you so so much!!
There's an enchanting quality in your voice that reminds me of Mandy Moore.
I love Mandy Moore! Thank you!
*Ursula:* "So, you want to make a deal for some legs so you can go up on land?"
*Ariel:* "No. I want you to teach me your dark magics so I can do it myself."
*Ursula:* "...Interesting. What's in it for me?"
*Ariel:* "I'll help you take revenge on father. Then you rule the seas while I rule on land."
*Ursula:* "Well now! You have a deal... apprentice."
*Ariel:* "You won't regret this. (Until it's too late.)"
*Ursula:* "What was that?"
*Ariel:* "Nothing."
2:18 WOW! I was not expecting that high note! I was expecting a really low and malicious-sounding note, but that was amazing! I just found your channel today and I love your work that I already subscribed!

I never thought it could be a villain song until now
My favourite princess. My favourite RUclips cover-maker.
Can it be more perfect?!
❤️❤️❤️
perfect, just building my siren playlist for an evil mermaid i made in a game
Love that ❤️
Thanks for using my piano backing track for this!
I cannot explain how absolutely spectacular this is! You are phenomenal, you’ve not even just put it in minor key, it’s like, the way you sing brings meaning into the song.
That is so lovely thank you!
Love how the tone is almost softer, but also combines elements of both "Part of Your World" and "Poor Unfortunate Souls" to meld them almost into one character. Considering I was a fan of both characters and their songs it makes this almost better than both alone
It’s amazing how much a change in key can make all the difference
Wow your voice is really great and wicked
Whit each video im allured even more
I LITERALLY THOUGHT OF THIS WHEN YOU SAID YOU WERE GONNA DO MORE COVERS WITH THIS CONCEPT
AH YOU READ MY MIND
Perfect! Chills from start to finish, no lie. Thank you for this. It would be nice to see your take on how Tiana, Belle or one of the Madrigal-sisters turn villains (for some reason Isabela-scenario especially intrigues me).
I’m doing some thinking atm for other princesses so will defo have some more in the future !
Bodacious composition and super legit story! In fact, I can even see the story further progressing in which King Trident himself most likely has to be the one to stop Ariel now, as she is too far gone and has grown far too powerful for literally anyone else in the kingdom to challenge. He may even end up sacrificing himself just to bring her back and it is ultimately what snaps her out of her madness. As much as she hated all of his lecturing and scolding... in the end, she finally realizes that he was only trying to protect her from the corruptions of the surface world and now both of them have paid the ultimate price for her hubris.
I love all of your villain covers but this one is my absolute favourite 🤩 Also your voice on the word burn is amazing!
This is absolutely beautiful! I love the concept of Ariel needing to give souls to Ursula for Ursula to give her legs so Ariel turns for the dark side to be a part of our world
I could feel this ‘Evil Ariel’ her pain of sick of being in the ocean and wants to go to the surface and be a human, willing to pay any price to spend just one day ‘above’.
Despite she’s a evil version, I feel sympathy for her 😢
1:26 I absolutely love the bitterness on that ‘free’. Really resembles her resentment and jealousy of the humans
This makes me think that she sung the song again out of the pain and anger she had after her father destroyed her cove full of human collected items that took her a lot of effort and time to collect.
I love all the high notes you hit in this song.
Ahh this is amazing! Can you eventually do evil Rapunzel 👀🤞
Yes! I plan to do something with rapunzel when I come back to this series ❤️
@@LydiatheBard Woo! Can't wait :D
I just found you and have been binge listening. You are very talented
Beautiful 😍
There's a reason I love minor keys. They just sound so beautiful in an almost haunting way. This can be a villian song or an emotional ballad. I want Disney to have an alto singer for a princess and have at least one song in minor key
It’s crazy how many Disney Protagonists could have been villains if they never grew as characters
I agree, it's rather terrifying what a lot of characters would be without their ethics or morals. They'd be scarier and much more dangerous than the villains of their series.
your voice matches this song so much, you've done many wonderful covers and this is definitely one of them. a hug from Brazil!
I'd more imagine that she took over Ursula's grotto, learned some magic of her own and eventually becomes a much more sinister sea witch.
I think her song can be also twisted towards hating people and singing “Part of my world” being more a siren creature to trap people😅 her song has so many possibilities!
My favorite Disney Princess just got better!!!!
Girl you keep out doing yourself!! This is amazing💕
Thank you!!
this is honestly such a good vocal performance, this sounds like one of those sympathetic villains that makes you cry in the third act.
I’ve literally just been binge-listening to your songs today
