With Evil Jay confirmed for the Tournament, this is a potential storyline I think would play out amazing: in one of the first rounds, it’s Jay v Nya. Nya thinks Jay’s back and is caught in the moment, but Jay not remembering her catches Nya off guard and manages to defeat her, sending the Ninja into a panic. Later, it’s Evil Jay against Cole, which would be a great callback to their fight in the original Tournament, except Cole is forced to take out Jay so they can win

Here’s my take for the Blood Moon Trophy and Crystal.
Lore:
The Blood Moon Crystal is actually a small fallen moon fragment carved into a crystal. This was used to summon the Blood Moon anytime, anywhere. Perhaps the Blood Moon created Chima and the Chi.
The trophy, if it is important, is definitely linked to Shatterspin and the Gong of Shattering at the very least. When you look at the decoration, you have the Ninjargon sure, but you got these little "drops" around it, which are identical to the one seen on the red Shatterspin sword piece AND on the Shatterspin armor as seen in the show !
Besides, Shatterspin and such is all about strength, Ras keep mumbling about how Strength is the most important thing, what is a tournament for if not to show your strength?
Plot Twist like the Monasteries there could be 16 Crystals that serve different purposes lol
Like each Realm has a Realm Like Crystal that would also help tie in with the Oni coming into each realm easily 😂

I think the wannabe new ninja will be gandalaria, and other fire based elemental masters like lava which could wyldfyre’s boyfriend, he might’ve been raised in the wyldness too with the lava tides, his power is that he might slam his hands to the ground to make lava. The master of plasma, he can share energy with other people or take it. And two elemental masters of the same type masters of ash they can burn peoples eyes with their powers
My theory is that possibly the ninja want the jewel to try to save Kai from nether space.

Is the trophy a bit like the old one
This is my theory: the Ninja believe that if they can win the Tournament, they can use the trophy to summon the Blood Moon so they can free Kai and Bonzle back. I think that it will be Arin who wins the Tournament and gets the trophy.
In the end Kai and Bonzle are freed and Jay has his memories regain and back to the Ninja team. And Ras and his forces are defeated. However, unbeknownst to the Ninja, the rest of the Forbidden Five managed to escape Nether-Space and reuniting with Nokt. BOOM: they will be the antagonists for the next season.
This is a very good theory especially with the gem. I wonder if the Motion Source Dragon has the power to put things in motion whenever she wills, like the Blood Moon.
