Coming back after a few years and listening to these songs I finally get some of the deeper meanings.
The lyrics is a continuation to "ghost" and the buildup and beat drop sound incredibly similar

I remember these songs releasing, everything was so new and fun back then
theory: all the girls in the background art of jacob's songs have been ones he's "dated". they represent one at least, the one from _heartless_ must have been cruel to jacob in the end/aftermath of their relationship, or turned him down at the start.
this girl (same one as from _ghost_ ) had left or died, and she affected jacob greatly. he halluciates/dreams of seeing her, and maybe they were in a fight when she called, which could have been her last call before she died (car accident, overdose on something?, or some other travel-related accident) or she was leaving him. since the significant change of hair style from the last time we saw her, maybe she changed in a way jacob didn't like, and they fought about that.
my headcanon name for the _ghost/a dream_ girl is lucy. the girl from _heartless_ is either amanda, paige, or robin and the girl from _feel you_ (just from looking at them thumbnail) is tiffany or something french.

Damn, after clicking this i remembered the live stream in yt where i was always at 4 years ago. It was an EDM live stream, where you can interract with other people, same interests etc. This song was played, maybe 20 times a day (my estimation tho) Guess the owner loved this so much.
