Your videos are always engaging, informative, and entertaining. I’ve learned a lot from them and applied what I’ve learned to my camping videos. Thanks.
The reflection of the sky on the lake was fantastic Robert. Like a mirror. Beautiful shots. BTW I always feel like I've been on the trip with you. Great work!
I believe it has been a very dry year for most of the country. I'll bet the falls look stunning during a normal season. I am loving the nature walks. Thank you!
We stayed at DeSoto State Park toward the end of August. There was good WiFi at campsite 91. That was our first RV trip ever after buying a new 27 foot travel trailer in late July.
Another great video, I really enjoy your travels. The date stamps along the way are very helpful in determining the seasons that you have chosen to visit these places.
Howdy Robert, many thanks for sharing yet another superb video here which I thoroughly enjoyed watching as usual.Your videos are a real treat buddy and-need I point out?- they represent a welcome distraction in those dark times we are living in these days because of that nasty coronavirus scourge(the coronacurve is rising fast again here in Belgium right now with almost 2000 daily infections !!).Best regards and cordial greetings from William in Bruges,Belgium,Europe.
Wishful thinking/dreaming at 2:03 "... post-Covid era ..." on July 21, 2020? - Thank you very much for showing the wonderful nature and your cooking session. I missed the garlic!! Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.
Wow! I loved the video Robert. The waterfalls may have let you down, but the the surrounding beauty of each waterfall and the hike there and back was breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you so much for the early release, the making and sharing of this video. Safe and happy travels, God Bless!👍👍😊
Robert you should see DeSoto in the spring the water going over the waterfalls is something to see from the spring rains. It starting to dry up in the summer and not as pretty. Loved your video of the waterfalls even if the water was down. We always like to see how others see our state of Alabama. Safe travels, KennyandCandy's Travels
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊😊! Where are the Pelicans?? Well, I see that there are many DEERS. RUN DEER...RUN😊😊😊! Beautiful hike through Desoto State Park and those scenic waterfalls. Chattanooga is a beautiful city featuring Lookout Mountain and the Tennessee River. I have been to Chattanooga many times. Ohhh a cooking show and it looks so delicious. That stew looks so good, so good that I have copied your recipe as I always follow your cooking shows. Great video Robert😊😊! I look forward to your next destination and video.
Good morning Robert! Thanks for taking me along on another "wish I was there" adventure, although at one point I was wondering just where in the blue blazes you were going (ha ha). Your disappointing waterfall experience reminds me of the tiny waterfall right alongside the road in Yosemite just as you enter the valley...the tour bus drivers always joke about it when they pass by. Happy trails!
I love alabama!! My new home state!! No traffic here!! Saludos and welcome to home sweet home! Lagrange downtown is nice but the city sucks lots of hoods! Saludos mi hermano i still have not met a cuban here tho 😐 de madre
Great video, we live in North Alabama and have seen these waterfalls unfortunately when there's no rain there not flowing to good! Like you said though the hike is really beautiful! It's just great to be outdoors!
It's dry season in Georgia and North East Alabama so water flow is very low right now. Spring is the better time to visit any falls in this regional area, and you'll see more than just deer.
Very nice, Robert! Maybe the ‘Dry Tortugas’ shirt jinxed ya. Waterfalls were dry. Looking forward to Cloudland video. We were just there this summer. Safe travels!
G, day from Sydney, Australia where we are now feeling the summer weather approach. That was an enjoyable film. With bushwalking, a compass on your phone may be handy. 1. Most maps or charts have a North point. You can then read your map (It has a North symbol/Rose on a corner) directed by your electronic compass.🧭 2.Alternitives, you can check the direction at the start: periodically- then return (opposite heading).
I just loved seeing that Rib Shak barbecue you passed in Valley Head as my husband and I drove by that several times. In fact, I loved seeing the whole drive from Mentone to Chattanooga and back as we have made that trip many times. Do not get the tomato pie at Wildflower Cafe. It was $7.00 and a very small round pie. Wasn’t really a fan. I would like to try their Mediterranean pasta. Yes, at this time, you can only eat there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and only outside. I also think they are fixing up the inside.
Robert, I just love your videos! I just discovered full time RVer videos. I love your cinematography! It makes me feel like I'm along for the ride. A lot of others do too many videos about rv maintenance. I like seeing the places around the US. Thank you! If you ever get a chance try the Gunflint trail in Minnesota. It's in Northern Minnesota, out of Grand Marais. It's a beautiful drive! We have stayed at Okantoe, I'm not sure about the hookups, but our campsite was gorgeous and right on Bow lake.
Love the Alabama side of lookout mountain. It's much cheaper and a lot less crowded than the Chattanooga side. Mentone and little river canyon are beautiful this time of year.
Those trails with color identification could be a challenge for folks who are colorblind. Different editing there jumping with the music.... And lost falls sounds like it lost a lot of water flow 🥴 Great video as usual! 👏👏 Bill PS wow driving for 2 hours to get us our Traveling Robert fix? THANKS for doing that!
I suspect the areas you visited would be much busier if it wasn't for this darn pandemic, it's nice that's it's peaceful but not to see many people so sad. Happy travels Robert, I enjoy your videos. Keep safe my friend. Thanks
Loved the video, especially because you drove right by our house between Lyerly, GA and Sloppy Floyd State Park. If we’d known we would have stood on the side of the road and waved as you went by! Thanks for giving our little area (NE Alabama and NW Georgia) a little coverage with regards to the beautiful areas we have.
Last night, we watched another one of your Alabama videos. Your visit to Huntsville, AL. And the space center. It was a lot of fun. We really enjoy your channel.
Loved this trip! We were in Chattanooga and NW Georgia in June and discovered that Chattanooga is a “10G” city, in other words, they have an internet infrastructure that provides 10G speeds through FREE WiFi throughout the city. The speeds are amazing, so much so that the KOA in Trenton, Georgia doesn’t even offer cable TV hookups because streaming quality through their free WiFi gives quality just as good if not better than cable. So appreciate your travelogues, Robert!! 👌🏻😎
You did the best you could as a cinematographer with the 'Lost Falls', lol. Great work per usual. Speaking of falls, you need to check out Fall Creek Falls next time in TN, big state park with several waterfalls including the big one and lots of trails and a huge campground; between Nashville and Chattanooga.
Love your channel man, you're doing an outstanding job showing us armchair travelers around the US. You always refer to "we're" - is your wife traveling with you? She must be shy since we never see her anymore.
Nice video thanks. The trail to the Lost Falls needs upkeep. I got your stickers two days ago from Ohio, they will go on my Winnebago motorhome, thanks.
You mentioned the drone and Georgia State Parks. Desoto Falls is in Alabama. I don’t know if that’s the same rule here in Alabama as in Georgia so it may be the case. We were there last week and did not try the longer trail either.
Great video and wonderful scenery. You'll have to bring that poor woman on your trips that suffers from those DVT blood clots ads so she can calm her problems with a nice walk in the woods.
Not alot of rain here in alabama this sorry they weren't running more water cheaha state park s big mountain 🏔️ they have have cabins you can rent don't take the camper with it would hard on it but nice place to see
Quiero mucho sus videos.Hoy me toca verlos.Me entretienen mucho y aprendo.El frío aquí y en estos tiempos difíciles......Sis videos su música y su manera de decir alegran mi vista y mis oídos. Tamb.me gusta ver sus mejoras y cómo los enriquecen.Gracias.Saludos desde Argentina.Fly Pelican.Goooood morning
GREAT AS ALWAYS....THAT COOKING PART SURE LOOKED DELICIOUS..THANKS FOR THE VIEWS.
I could chase all the waterfalls all, over the USA. Just love the mountains and love waterfalls.
“It seems pretty lively! Huge cemetery!”
Actual LOL
The other day there was a huge line....people were dying to get in.
Beautiful places: the waterfalls, the trails and a very good cooking session.Great job. Congrats.... be safe and see you on the road. Love...MOM...>>>
I love your hiking videos. I can always tell that you are not quite comfortable in the woods but still love the scenery.
Good morning Robert. A nice relaxing way to spend Sunday morning. Always a great job. Continue to have fun and stay safe.
Love this. I'm born and raised in Alabama. Miss it so much. In Indiana now. So enjoy being a part of your adventures. Thank you!
Your videos are always engaging, informative, and entertaining. I’ve learned a lot from them and applied what I’ve learned to my camping videos. Thanks.
Okay, you talked us into it - we're doing DeSoto this coming spring! Thanks for doing the "scouting" job for us! 😉
When I turn on your video and hear the familiar music tracks, I feel better.
Thank you!
I really enjoy your cooking segment, buen provecho. ! Thank you Robert.
Alabama has some interesting places. Continue your good work.

You find the greatest places. Lots of research I’m sure. Thank you ❤

Another great video Robert! Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Man I love your theme song. We sing along lol
Wow! I loved the video Robert. The waterfalls may have let you down, but the the surrounding beauty of each waterfall and the hike there and back was breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you so much for the early release, the making and sharing of this video. Safe and happy travels, God Bless!👍👍😊
Those waterfalls are beautiful! It’s amazing you get to travel to these places, and it’d be so cool to meet you in real life!
Omg Daaamn Robert! You go all in with the cooking yum 😋 You don't be 1/2 stepping Mr. Gourmet Chef You 😆
Robert you should see DeSoto in the spring the water going over the waterfalls is something to see from the spring rains. It starting to dry up in the summer and not as pretty. I like to see episode like this. When you visiting the smaller places, the not so well known. Like the lake in the last part was amazing.
A privy is the lavatory, the head, the facilities, the loo, the can, the john, the latrine, the restroom, the water closet. The bathroom!

Best WiFi at DeSoto is near the restrooms- they transmit from there. fort Payne is 10 miles south and has WiFi in downtown coffee shop.
I love alabama!! My new home state!! No traffic here!! Saludos and welcome to home sweet home! Lagrange downtown is nice but the city sucks lots of hoods! Saludos mi hermano i still have not met a cuban here tho 😐 de madre

Chef Robert! You make very appetizing meals. 🚐❤️
Sunday breakfast is not the same without Traveling Robert. Once again Maestro amazing video.👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's dry season in Georgia and North East Alabama so water flow is very low right now. Spring is the better time to visit any falls in this regional area, and you'll see more than just deer.
Wow - such pretty country! And what a pleasure to view so much sunshine on a dreary, rainy UK Sunday evening! Thank you so much for a lovely vlog.
Hi Robert
Love the waterfalls. Have you been to Cumberland Falls in KY? It's really nice.
Haven't been there yet
Very nice, Robert! Maybe the ‘Dry Tortugas’ shirt jinxed ya. Waterfalls were dry. Looking forward to Cloudland video. We were just there this summer. Safe travels!
Another great episode TravellingRobert show, folks
Love the backroad footage.

Like Robert posting a sticker on each state he visits, I am leaving this comment on each episode I watch. Robert, you 'da man!
Bonsoir ! The town "La Grange" looks like very pretty, as Georgia and Alabama, beautiful states. A bientôt.
Good morning Robert! Awesome scenic video, you helped me start my Sunday and motivated me.

Thank you. I'll add it to the list for next year
Spectacular views! Thank you for sharing! 👍
Love the Alabama side of lookout mountain. It's much cheaper and a lot less crowded than the Chattanooga side. Mentone and little river canyon are beautiful this time of year.
We took a break from Hurricane Sally and went up. The weather was amazing, great food and people as always. October is way better than July up there.
Definitely better this time of year. It's beautiful once the leaves start to turn.
Those trails with color identification could be a challenge for folks who are colorblind.
Different editing there jumping with the music.... And lost falls sounds like it lost a lot of water flow 🥴
Great video as usual! 👏👏 Bill
PS wow driving for 2 hours to get us our Traveling Robert fix? THANKS for doing that!
Thank you again for another great video. Keep up the good work.
We stopped by DeSoto Falls on a long road trip from California to Florida! It really is filled with some amazing people, great video!
Great video Robert. Love the waterfalls. Also love the small towns you find and drive through or stop at.
Wetumpka and downtown prattville are nice. If you ever come this way again.
I suspect the areas you visited would be much busier if it wasn't for this darn pandemic, it's nice that's it's peaceful but not to see many people so sad.
Happy travels Robert, I enjoy your videos. Keep safe my friend.
Thanks
Actually even though it doesn't look very busy every campground has been full all summer especially on weekends.
Come right thru our neck of the woods and we missed you. Either way glad to see the next video, I was afraid you was still stuck in South Georgia 😂😂
Awesome video. Alabama and Georgia are beautiful. I have had a chance to see quite a bit of them from the Pinhoti Trail and the Appalachian Trail.
Glad you liked it. One of these days I'll do some part of the AT
@@TravelingRobert The Alabama section of the Pinhoti is really beautiful and not so heavily traveled.
I am a fan and support everything you do Thank you for letting us come with
Did I hear new music? around 26 minutes at Lyerly Georgia. Or did I just notice it for the first time? anyhow, it was nice music!
Look like cool trails the burgers really look good
Last night, we watched another one of your Alabama videos. Your visit to Huntsville, AL. And the space center. It was a lot of fun. We really enjoy your channel.

Another great video! Now that I’ve took a “break” I can get back to getting my RV ready to go.
Nice Swimming hole! Nice Falls and Trails! Nice Country side I never thought Alabama had nice Country!
Thank you
Cool ... awesome as always Robert.
Great episode! Hate that the wildflower cafe was closed. It is a gem.
Love your channel man, you're doing an outstanding job showing us armchair travelers around the US. You always refer to "we're" - is your wife traveling with you? She must be shy since we never see her anymore.
Yah need to start a RV cooking show on Food network and start a rv cookbook 😂
Nice video thanks. The trail to the Lost Falls needs upkeep. I got your stickers two days ago from Ohio, they will go on my Winnebago motorhome, thanks.
Thank you!
I like the small waterfalls. They invite you to linger close by, to be a part of the environment. they are more ? ? . . . intimate.
Thanks again, you made my day.
may fav south west. cali and arizona
The Road Nomad is on the move I like that .
Finally! Been waiting so long for this episode!
You mentioned the drone and Georgia State Parks. Desoto Falls is in Alabama. I don’t know if that’s the same rule here in Alabama as in Georgia so it may be the case. We were there last week and did not try the longer trail either.
Love your cooking!
In the last video I watched you did pretty decent Tony Montana!!
Nice video! Thank you.
