30 minutes of Virtual Scenery - Treadmill / Exercise Machine (Cotswolds UK)

- Treadmill? Exercise bike? Cross trainer? Rowing machine? Flying carpet? Beat the boredom with a virtual tour around the picturesque Hobbit Shires of Gloucester while you work out for a full 30 minutes. The music is not to everyone's tastes (classical) so mute and use your own accordingly, or treat yourself to a taste of culture :o)
SPEED NOTES: I've had some feedback comments regarding the speed of the video not being "realistic" and not accurately representing running or walking. Before publishing, I experimented creating the video at various jogging or cycling speeds, but found with the slower speeds, the visuals got very tedious very quickly.
In the end I settled for slower speeds around the more interesting parts and faster speeds during the less interesting bits, so hopefully providing sufficient change of scenery to keep the visuals interesting. The faster speeds also allow you to see much more of the area than you would do at slow speeds. :o)
I hate the treadmill. I repeat. I hate the treadmill. Just used this to run in the gym and even used your car speedups as intervals to increase my own speed. Also uses the music to run faster. Thank you for this. You are a great human being.

I don't know why people go to the trouble of creating videos like this - but I am sure happy and grateful they do. I workout on a cross trainer seven days a week and watch this video every other day. I like counting the 9 phone booths. When I reach the bridge in Arlington with the music, bells, and drums I feel like I have really done something. Thank you! Thank you!
This countryside is breathtaking, so peaceful and serene,I feel relaxed by watching it.
The only thing that keeps me motivated. Hope to get to visit some of these beautiful villages one day!!!!! Somehow I feel like I belong there. Love it!!!!!

I did this for the first time today and loved it. 30 minutes flew by. Thanks so much. I always wanted to visit England.
I did it for the first time today too except I had not done any exercise since the Birth of Christ so, I had to take a break every 5 minutes for the first 15 minutes of it and, then I did a full ten minutes, took another break and completed the remaining 5 minutes. I had to roll my upper thighs with a rolling pin for the first 5 minute intervals because I kept getting cramps but that subsided eventually.
Yes, it does help the workout pass quickly.
The scenery is like nothing around here, this is perfect for a 30 min power walk on the treadmill...too hot to go outside right now so this will do the trick! Thanks.

This video is more suitable for playing a Car Simulator game than any kind of exercise.

Brilliant! Just the thing for my exercise bike as I can watch on large screen TV. Ok it is a bit fast at times, but if it gets scary I just stop pedalling and freewheel for a while. Lovely scenery and Autumn colours. Well done!

my first scenic workout, loved it! I thought the speedups were workout intervals, and I loved there was a natural scenic warning that there would be a shift to speed up or slow down. never quite got used to vehicles popping up on the left (from USA) but that added a bit of spice to the workout, as did the finale music--great timing! Thanks!
I love this! I've tried out several of these types of videos on youtube but so far I like this one the best. Some are so slow and the scenery all looks sort of the same. I like the varying speed and twists and turns. Thanks! Please do more!
Thank you so much for this video! Went to the doctor today. Had gained too much weight and blood pressure was up. I pulled out the indoor exercise bike and found your video. I didn’t think I could do it but I made it to the end! Loved it when you made the video go super fast! I felt like I was flying on that bike! Lol! Will definitely use this again!

I bought a walking treadmill and was looking for something motivational to use with my wireless headset and this video was great. Love the classical music choices. I'm actually able to control my pulse against higher speed settings. Especially the funny 1000 points roadkill insert. That had me laughing!

I clicked on settings and set it at half-speed and quarter-speed. Much better for walking/running!

Just came across this video today and used it while taking a brisk treadmill walk. Very much enjoyed the scenery and winding through the narrow roadways you have there. Being from Western Canada I am only familiar with wide highways & roadways. Thanks for posting this as I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery! Also I thought your video quality was great!
