I lost my brother on the 6th of February 2008 - This song reminds me of him every single time I hear it. It often makes me tear up. I wonder if he ever got a chance to listen to the song.
This is far and away the best performance of this song, which is also my favorite song. I first listened to this clip in the fall of my senior year in college, which was almost 10 years ago. This song, this performance shaped my early adulthood and listening to it today, it still moves me in a way that very little can.
Wow I've had nearly verbatim the same exact relationship with this song, and this performance specifically. Discovered it in college and had never been moved in such a way by a song before, and still haven't often all these years later. I'm so glad its somehow still on RUclips.
Sorry, but this song feels like a song about two people running to avoid a forced abortion.. wish I knew. Never tell even if I was right. Why, music is subjective..
@@MrJDG2011 oh I like your interpretation very much. Like they are almost reflecting on their own circus while watching others run around lost and looking for meaning? Seeing the same mistakes and happiness that life is about.. something of this nature?

I think it a about a dead person observing the circus of live, asking his loved one to remember him.
