@@thenionx There's not a lot of reviews where people share the info you did. Probably none that was as informative or thorough. I want to buy one, but first wanted to see how it looked and performed a few months after release as almost all the reviews (mostly paid) were done just when it came out and every influencer out there only had good things to say and sounded fake. And other people did comparisons and only stated how it lacked in every aspect compared to other projectors. And the rest of the general population the bought it complained back then that the software was laggy and nothing worked as advertised. No one just plainly shared their personal experience just using the Freestyle like a normal person haha. So thanks! I still think the price is absurd for a 1st gen. Especially for something that only clocks in at like 250 ANSI lumens, but as for the rest...there's not much out there on the market that can do what the Freestyle can, I think. I still like it and your video helped a lot. Liked and subscribed.
@@thenionx You did mention that at a certain angle the projector would not lock in and just slowly lowered as if it's weight wasn't properly centered. In my hours of trying to find a decent review I stumbled upon numerous posts of people saying they had the same issue - and apparently Samsung has a fix for that. They never outright just stated what it was, but they did say to email support and they'd give the fix.
@@miexed8949 Thank you for your kind words. Glad I could help in your decision. Honestly I watched two or 3 reviews when it first released and felt like they were fake or just plain biased myself. But a few months later when I saw it for the discounted price I figured "Why not?" I still had an interest in it regardless of the negative/fake reviews. I'm glad I pulled the trigger because it is a very helpful little unit. Is it worth $899? To some, maybe, but to me, definitely not. But at the right price point (I paid just under $500), the freestyle is probably the best portable projector you can buy. It's really an all in one unit that just fits where ever you need it to. With the right accessories you can literally use it just about anywhere with ease. Thanks for watching and commenting. It means a lot. And thanks you for subscribing!
@@thenionx That's great news, thank you! Plex is absolutely amazing! I really hope that it streams well and can keep up with the other streaming apps on the Freestyle specifically.
Thanks for the review, you had T H E best video, others were too short. I am deciding to buy one.

@@miexed8949 I never thought to contact them about the issue. Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.
Hi there.
Do you possibly know (or can you test) whether the Freestyle can run the PLEX app?
I don't know, but when I get home, I'll look into it and get back to you
@@thenionx Thanks so much!
@@miex1321 no problem I'm not home until late so you'll hear from me tomorrow
OK. Tried it and yes there is a Plex app for the Freestyle. I'm not familiar with the app so I'm Currently exploring it.

Good thing is it is rotatable! I think 360°
A very handy feature. Comes in more handy than you know
Can a sound bar be connected
Yes one can, depending on the connection.
