Love acorns, actually just tried a few sorry looking watercolor doodles of some - now I’m trying again after your lesson- and already looking better - i always find some acorns in my car in my pockets and my side table tray and my desk at work 🤷♀️🍁- my mom taught us how to use the cap as a whistle and now I’m still looking for them to try 😊thank you so much - you made my day 👩🎨💕👍happy painting
What fun, I had to travel to the mountains to find oodles of them on the ground! A whistle? WOW (as I run to my studio to see if I can figure that out!) I'm glad you enjoyed this and to hear you are having fun with it! btw, Moms always have the funnest ideas dont they!?
Thank you, I do get a bit excited with some of my tutorials, especially when something unexpected happens, a good bloom, a fun unique blend. Watercolors are truly just magic and I never tire of them!

Beautiful! I picked up three different types of acorns hiking this weekend in California. And tonight I painted the three different ones. 😂 Then your video showed up. Hmmmm. That said, I was glad to see your video it helped a lot to improve what I've done.
What fun! I did the same, green ones, brown ones, gold ones. They are so cool arent they. So interesting how that happens, (somewhat freaky) Ill be talking about something and all of a sudden pops up in my feed! Im glad this was helpful~

I just can't get it together! I've been off really bad the past few days! The ringing in my ears are screaming too! It will drive ya bat shxt crazy 😵🥴😖
Sometimes that happens to the best of us! Truly. Thats when I have to sit down, and paint something I know I exel at, love, and enjoy, get back into that flow vs that frustration. Landscapes are NOT easy, not for me anyway, and honestly they somewhat bore me, unless I Can find a fun way to paint them, I do like painting them of places I go, and places I hike to.. PS A few years ago I get ringing to, It NEVER stops, nor goes away its so crazy. Not sure where it came from, but its loud. I suppose at this point, I just have to get used to it!

Your acorns are beautiful. I would like to offer a suggestion please for your future tutorials. Perhaps use less hand motions-they are distracting. These is so much movement with your hands that I fast forward quite often to avoid this. Your words are adequate, very easy to understand your directions and I thank you for that. Having dialogue is so much more educational than someone just painting to music with no test. Thank you for giving us such beautiful tutorials. You are very talented.
