@@mindlightwave I absolutely loved it there. Its a really beautiful island, without many visitors, with wonderful nature, great food and lovely people. If you visit, getting around Yakushima with a rental car will be the way to do it. My friend and myself dont drive, so we had to stick to bus and taxi and where therefore a bit less flexible than I would have liked it. But even so, I can totally recommend visiting this small paradise. When you go, stay in a Ryokan, to enjoy the wonderful traditional food.
