- The gun that started a few of my VERY expensive habits........and I still love it.
Meet BIG BABY. Taurus raging bull chambered in 454 casull. Bought this used (with maybe 2 shots through it) in 2002 or 2003. Have loved it ever since. They don't make them like this anymore.
If you have any questions about her - leave them in the comments and I will try to answer them.
Very nice! I just got my first revolver (a Taurus 65 .357 with a 4" Barrel) as an entry level gun since I wasn't sure how I would like it after shooting semi-autos for so long. I found that I really really like it (whether shooting .38 Special or .357 Magnum). Thanks!
A 4 inch 357 is a great forst revolver, glad you like it. Now you just need to work up to the bigger calibers 🙂
Nice, mine is the same but little later, 2003 maybe in 480 Ruger , I love it!
I was lucky enough to find a three metal rib plate original scope mount that was discontinued too
I wish they still made them this way. The new ones don't liok this good and the triggers aren't as good.
@@raymondbuie5292 I have that too, had a red dot on it at one time.
This video will cost me money. I'm considering buying a new Taurus .460 Raging Hunter in 10.5" with a muzzle brake. I've never owned a Taurus, but I can't pay $1,900 for the equivalent S&W. Are Taurus revolvers better than they used to be?
My experience with this gun has been positive. It is a very nice gun with a good trigger pull. I think it's nicer than the current raging hunter line.
Overall I think taurus makes a good revolver, and I wouldn't be afraid to buy one personally today. I own a model 66 in 357 mag a judge, and this one, love them all.
