We froze over night I believe. The reason it might have been a little too slushy is adding too much tequila. Lol... It also could be that your freezer isn't as cold as mine (-11)• one more thought is that if you added a ton of sugar or any alcohol (like triple sec) it won't freeze as well. The same is true of salt like soy sauce etc.
