The Spurs game last weekend was a feature story on free to air evening news last weekend. I am nearly 70 years old and I have never seen a story before on the News in Australia about a normal premier league game. Yes things are changing here. People are sitting up and taking notice .@@waggafletcher

Melbourne is inundated with AFL drivel that we have to read or watch everyday. The AFL even have a two week brake after the end of the season before starting the finals. The AFL does try his, not to give a break to the teams that will play finals, but, because the AFL gets to have an extra week to have the people focusing on AFL events and keeping their minds on to he 'footy' .
