I remember watching this video when it was first uploaded and I thought it was good but could have used the full henshin sequence for Shinkenger. Unbelievable that it was 7 years ago now. I would also suggest going back and making Sentai of the 90s, Metal Heroes of the 90s etc.

You know, serious stories like: -Countdown to Destruction: the 2 part finale to “In Space” where an alien invasion happens and people die. -When Kendrix sacrificed herself to stop Cassie’s morpher from being destroyed. -When Cole came to the city to look for his parents only to realize that they’re dead and the main villain is the man who killed them. -When Mack was revealed to be an android and having to come to grips with that reality, ultimately sacrificing himself for humanity. -Power Rangers RPM, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where billions of humans are dead. And these are just a few. Power Rangers has been doing serious plot elements and storylines since day 1. Sure some are more complex and deep than others, but they are there.

I think the reason why gekiranger was so good was that (to me anyways) it was an updated version of dairanger who was more martial arts oriented than the other sentai series. Also i am a pr fanboy but Shinkenger is vastly superior to samurai both in storyline and character development

In Japan, the franchise is called Super Sentai. They do it first, then it's adapted to Western audiences. The Western adaptation is the only one called Power Rangers (although South Korea airs original Super Sentai there with Power Rangers name for some reason).
GaoBlack has claws because bisons have nails on their hooves, not as sharp as that though. But there's two on a real bison's feet. Thus, when he does the GaoBlack pose, it represents the bison's horns. GaoBlue has claws because when he does the GaoBlue pose, it suppose to represent the shark's mouth wide open with the teeth. That's what I understood of the representation anyway.
