    Mines a mk2 06 plate an these fuel tanks are only 52L so pretty small, as for block mod, ive had it done and warm up an cool down its on 90k, an cars still split when shimmed its a lottery so is what it is.. change the ic and upgrade oil cooler, i change oil every month an keep on top of any maintenance, i daily mine and its fine costs more than ur average but its a 2.5ltr turbo not a 1.3 or 1.6 diesel so its gonna be heavy, its the compromise with driving a big engine car thts nr 20 yr old, the 5pot sound and how nice they come on boost is worth it.. Only car id change 2 is the mk2 rs..

    Hiya mate, Mine had that same K&N induction. Its not recommended as its fed down a long way and it doesn't take much of a puddle and your engine is done, its easy something you can forget in the middle of winter, It also is not a very good design from the early day. Much better to just get a ram air one, thats comes with the ecu relocation, you can also get a dual cowl so the in scoop is on both sides, to do this is cheap mate.

    Love the seat follow up :) at least you can sit knowing it's not in god knows what🤮, liner anxiety hmm keep the power reasonable not mad,decent oil changed regularly and fingers crossed, bonnet catch there must be a decent workaround by now as you mentioned, laquer peel the car still looks good so stop looking at it 😁, fuel = running cost so smiles per miles worth it👍, reputation sod em don't worry people always make assumptions you can't stop em so just be you.

    5:23 if that bonnet lock goes again. Don’t buy another one. Instead (it’s better if you got the original barrel as you can use the original key” tap a socket on to the key barrel. Then using screwdriver extension bits build it up from the barrel to the bonnet catch and wrap it up in electrical tape. Will never break again 👍🏻👍🏻

    With the liners just warm it up before you boost and let it cool down before turning it off and you should be alright 👍🏻. I got blockmod belts service and rs clutch at Automodz in Nottingham watch them do the whole lot was amazing insight very knowledgeable mark is, its never been better got mine mapped at D & T evolution, running 327bhp and 528 N.M. I keep looking at a focus st as a toy, but lacquer peel and fuel consumption worry me. I keep looking at vxr’s specifically racings and arctics as.a better alround alternative. It’ll only be a weekend toy so mpg doesn’t have to be sensible but the st appears ridiculous.

      My mk2 st stage 1 is useless in 1st an even 2nd you have be careful it just spins an can fuk drive shafts but hit 3rd an on boost it really goes, at 225bhp standard they're ok, but at stage 1 275 bhp they fair shift for a car with a 2.5ltr heavy lump in the front..but still must be a well mapped diesel or a vary average driver in the st

    • @jaynewsham977
      @jaynewsham977 6 месяцев назад

      Get one and do stage 1 intercooler and upgrade oil cooler, warm it up, 1st 10-15 min of ya drive take it easy, then last few mile take it easy, stage 1 map it and you'll fall in love, little bit tame standard stage 1 and its perfect.. Cars with block mod still crack, just warm up an cool down, but most of these will of had it and most have the rs clutch nowadays by 70k miles.. Be picky loads about and fair price, you won't regret a mk2 st..

    44-45 mpg on focus st is bollocks, you would never get that. If you would say 34-35 mpg then I might belive but 44-45 mpg you even won't get out of some 3 litre diesels. I mean driving constantly on motorway 60-70 mpg on cruise control.
