Still no luck with downloading? 'cause, I was thinking. You only need a few seconds each song. So could you just screen record a clip of the song, and not the whole song?
I've tried screen recording them but it wouldn't record the audio for some reason even when I go into the settings and change to record audio @@Lei3195i
@@peachxtaehyung Ah, I remember having that happen when I first learned screen recording and I have an idea what it probably is, even though it's a different computer and different operating system.
I looked up chromebook screen recording instructions. You already know these, but there is one particular part that says:
"To ensure that your audio settings are correct, click on the Settings gear to the right of the parameter icons. Then choose whether you want to record your microphone along with system audio."

Q: Why is there no volume on my screen recording?
A: If your screen recording lacks sound, it may be due to the microphone being disabled in the screen-recording settings. Another reason could be system glitches or restrictions set on the device that prevent audio capture. Ensure the microphone is active and the device isn't on silent mode before recording
OPTIONAL:
(You might not have to care about this unless you are prompted, or, if you do follow the instructions, but it ends up recording your voice or stuff from the outside instead of the sound coming from the inside of the computer, which in this case is going to be the sound accompanying the video & that is what you want)
You know how sound has input (microphone) and output (speaker) settings.
Like when u talk into the microphone, that would be external input. But when it's sounds produced by the computer, that's internal input.
And when you have internal output, that would be for example if you are using headphones, but external output would be if you are playing the sounds right out of the speakers so that people around you could hear.
When the instructions I copy pasted up there say "choose whether you want to record your microphone along with system audio" there is probably a way to indicate whether that means the sound comes from internal output; i.e. from the video being recorded, vs if you were using an external microphone and say talking into it.
You would think that would be the default, but idk, sometimes computers don't do what I think should be the default.
You DO want microphone to be recorded, but in case there is a place to specify this, you want internal, not external input source.
Anyway, if you try it one way and it's wrong, then you will know to change it next time.
I hope this explanation made sense. Because the exact wording I'm using might not be the same, but the concept should be the same.
Like I said this part might not matter.

Oh, if you need help screen recording I can always screen record for you, since I don’t have a choice on weather it grabs the audio or not, it just always takes the audio for me
