    Watching Steve Kerr play is so wild now... ppl forget this man was a hooper on some of the best teams ever assembled.
    And then has COACHED SOME OF THE BEST TEAMS EVER ASSEMBLED.

    Duncan was so fundamentally skilled with a high basketball IQ, and he was a winner. Duncan was in the playoffs every single year of his career the Greatest power forward.

    Timmy’s composure throughout the game is unrivaled. He knew they would pull it off. Duncan is a magician and basketball genius. Also gotta give Jackson a lot of credit. He hit so many clutch shots. So happy David got the win on Father’s Day and sailed off on top.

    I dunno why, maybe I didn't watch basketball in these years (although I did heavily in 80s and 90s). I don't remember this series or this game, but Duncan is such a monster here. The passing is like Jokic from this year but he's also lock down on the defensive end.

    His defensive instincs timing, length and precision to ONLY GET THE BALL without fouling is such a great talent. Alot of his blocks he only jumps like 12 inchs

    Tim Duncan’s (near) quadruple double in the ‘03 finals to close out the Spurs’ championship was also remarkable. Unfortunately, it goes under a lot of people’s radars 😅

    Really shows how the NBA has changed. These days an 11 point lead isn’t even that big any not even breaking 90 points in a Finals game is considered an offensive disaster.
