    Did you. List clothes?
    Congratulations on your anniversary. Good job. Thanks for sharing. By the way I did something I never thought I’d do-switched to Jetboil Zip. Incredibly fast. Efficient. Made my BRS n PRocket look ineffective. Best wishes on you Camino hike!

      Yup they're the first thing I listed. :) I haven't seen the Zip yet, I'll check it out! No Camino plans at present time, Covid blew my trip up and now the money's gone. Someday maybe. Ultreia!

    I don’t watch many gear videos these days because I have my kit dialed into what works for me! That said, yours looked interesting, and I really enjoyed it. Much of your gear fairly closely matches what I’m carrying.
    That said, a suggestion for you. I found a Paria Outdoors long-handled *fully polished* titanium spoon this year, and it has been an absolute pleasure to use! It’s nice to hold, and so much easier to clean. Try it, I promise you’ll never look back! 😊

    Awesome video again, thank you! Can you tell me how big of a gas canister you can fit in the toaks 750ml together with the soto windmaster?

    • @BackcountryPilgrim
      @BackcountryPilgrim  3 месяца назад +1

      The Jetboil 100g (3.53 oz.) cannister takes up about half the space so you can get a lighter and a BRS3000 in there easily. No cannister will fit with a Soto Windmaster as it takes up most of the space by itself. I got the Toaks 1100ml pot for that. :)

    I love the bug net idea!
    For the pocket knife, what do you mean by “I can take it with the scales on or off”? 🤔

    CNOC Vecto for me too. Combined with the Hydroblu Versa Flow. The best gravity system.
    Umbrellas are really important to me too. I rarely take a rain jacket on a trip

      Cool! I have not used a Hydroblu Versa Flow before - may have to check that out! Thanks for watching!

      @BackcountryPilgrim It's not only low cost (~$20), but flows as well as the Squeeze, is lighter than the Squeeze, and has threads both ends.

    Dang it, Doug! You’re making it so I HAVE to make another video! It’s fun to see how our gear choices evolve…and sometimes backtrack toward gear we began with. I will get mine posted in two weeks. Cheers bro!

    Congrats Doug! I love your recommendations and will probably check out some of them. Is there any piece of the gear you mentioned been with you from the beginning or have stood the test of time? Thank You

      The pot, umbrella, Cnoc Vecto, and Hilltop Packs bags have been around from very early on!

    More great content. Keep up the good work. And more rap videos. So i guess it’s a subtle change to the logo? Looks better. I was hoping for something more radical though, like when Prince changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol in the ‘90s. Oh well.
    What do you actually use the knife for?

    • @BackcountryPilgrim
      @BackcountryPilgrim  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah more of an update than a new one. I was never really happy with the stick figure since the rest of the logo was more intricate. The knife is for normal knife stuff but I like this one better than a little Swiss Army knife for (minor) protection and whittling.
