- President Biden traveled to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA to deliver remarks on voting rights. "Some things in America should be simple and straightforward. Perhaps the most important of those things, the most fundamental of those things, is the right to vote. The right to vote freely. The right to vote fairly. The right to have your vote counted."
He discussed the 2020 election, saying that "No other election has ever been held under such scrutiny and such standards. The big lie is just that, a big lie."
The president went on to call for the passage of the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

Important things you want to make sure the person is who they are. Here are a list of things apparently more important than voting. Buying tobacco, alcohol, renting a storage unit, using a credit card, renting an apartment, going into a strip club, buying a gun, buying a car, renting a car, dropping off lunch to your child's school.

I only agree that Voting day should be a federal holiday.....free public or at least subsidized public transportation already exists. My mail in ballot in my state had the return postage prepaid and I can even go online and see when it was read and what lot it was sorted in. Doesn't give me on who or what I voted on however.
Where is there free public transport? Not even minor children ride free in fla (infants do but only with a chaperone lol) You can get a discounted ticket if you have the time to prove your hardships otherwise its 5 dollars a day. Not a lot to someone with a car and those expenses but to someone who works 2 jobs at min wage trying to make it without a room mate its a meal or toilet paper or at least a caffinated beverage to get them through it. The bus was free for a while because covid and it worked out fine they have just gone back to not for free system and it seems very extremely wrong to be charging people money to risk their health and life to get to places they NEED to go. People dont want to ride the bus and it seems like a punishment fee. Like when they used to charge you long distance to call someone 3 miles away in the next city. The bus is gross and too often not on time. You have to wait standing in direct sunlight for long periods of time and people cant afford to just not take the bus because of a lightning storm or tornado watch. It gets people to work to school to grocery shopping and doctors appointments but its so inconvenient especially in bad weather and in the middle of pandemics that charging people to ride seems like robbery. Like im totally envisioning the hamburgler. Here to steal your work and any money or food or meds you might have earned in the process.

That's what I think too. It seems possible anyway. Nearly American citizen has a social-security card. Now, those SS cards are horribly, horribly insecure. But, but, but American *passports* are about as secure as they can be. So why aren't social-security cards more like passports? (Especially since they're used for everything already anyway, like banking, renting property, and getting a new job.) Or if social-security cards wouldn't work for some reason, why not something else like it? Every American would get a state-of-the-art ID card along with their social-security card (maybe just at birth with states handling all the registration details; or maybe at various times when people relocate). And then, at the voting booth, they can prove with their ID that they're citizens.
What you need to exercise amendment 2: Valid ID, no criminal history, background check, and maybe a waiting period.

Saying that it’s unconstitutional to ask for ID is so unbelievably hypocritical. It should apply to all or none.
Joe Manchin put forth an amendment to the For the People Act which included voter ID. Republicans unanimously vited against debating the issue. If it was about voter ID, we wouldn't still be discussing this.
I sometimes think about this. Almost every American citizen has a social-security card, I believe. It's just a slip of paper; it wouldn't take much to photocopy it, but the SSN is used for everything, banking, property rentals, employment, etc. But America's also really good at making fraud-proof certificates and materials, like driver's licences, currency, and, especially, passports. I wonder what would happen if social-security cards were more like passports then? Just about every American citizen would have one, and it'd be about as fraud-proof as public identification can be. And then, since every American citizen would have one, citizens could use it to prove who they are when they vote. Anyway, like I said, it's something I think about sometimes.

What is scary to me is the left was/is trying pass legislature to allow people to register via the internet ! With all these Chinese and Russian hacks and companies literally having to pay ransoms to operate, this is a dumb move. There has to be some verifiable identification process to validate a person is legally able to cast a ballot as an American citizen. This is voter integrity. EVERY COUNTRY OF THE WORLD HAS TIGHT RESTRICTIONS FOR VOTING. People in other countries laugh how there's hardly any real oversight over who it is that is casting the ballot. People in other countries marvel at all the ridiculous ways that have been conjured up in the U.S. to muster more numbers of votes. Every country requires an ID to vote, almost every country has only physical voting and very few mail-in balloting. Aside from 2-3 countries the voting is done in one day. Obviously MSNBC zombies don't remember seeing voters in so many countries standing in long lines under a hot sun waiting to vote.
Do we really want to have elections consisting of door-to-door harvesting of ballots from people who know virtually nothing about the candidates? I personally had a Dim activist coming to my door offering a ballot once she got the feel that I was inclined to vote the Biden-Harris ticket. How is this different from voting in communist countries where they never failed to get 99.9 percent voting? What kind of voting is it when woke kids influence their grandparents' vote as they're filling out a mail-in ballot that has been sent to everyone whether requested or not. I know so many people who got ballots though they haven't voted for over 5 years.

According to you, he is the most popular President in history. Yet every one of his videos gets ratio'd and that is with the help off Google and RUclips. Add to that the statistical improbability of Biden winning this election are so miniscule they are insignificant. Adding even more to that it is the democrats that are pushing for the federal government, not the States, to control voting laws - making them so flexible a person could vote in several different counties without proving who they are.
If you want to ignore all of that then that's something you have to work out for yourself.
