This movie is up there, not just in terms of being Animated, but as a Movie itself, it's a cinematic masterpiece, same goes for Legend of The Guardians
I adored this movie when I watched it and the fact it's become a meme brings a level of joy I can't even BEGIN to describe! This is a cult classic western if ever such a movie could be made! And the music.... Not only fits it... but adds even MORE emotion and drama to an already badass plot!
I had the discs and the extra ending one
I watched it in theaters and as soon as it released on Dvd I bought it and still watch it to this day. Also it's on Netflix so if my Dvd breaks I can still watch it.

What i think atleast
That fact that the song has the same tempo as the scene is incredible
They must’ve based this whole scene on the song, it goes way too well together. How the chorus kicks in at the perfect moments, how the song picks up at the right moments etc.
It's almost too perfect
Rango is one of the best movies ever made
When the protagonist so badass, even the antagonist can respect him.
I kind of wish this actually happened in the movie like they add this song during the scene
might have been issues getting the rights.
My favorite animated movie of all time, one of the best I would say. It was already so good, but this music just fits perfectly. It was sad though, how little people knew of this movie before. I'm glad its finally getting attention

Love it
When I was younger I never understood the movies or anything but just enjoyed them. Now that I know more, and adore western stuff like this, it actually sent chills down my entire body when Rango said "Try me." with the music getting good, it was so epic, and if I was like 8 I would just be sitting there blankly. I cannot express how much movies and cartoons and such mean so much more now that I am older, a once in a lifetime experience honestly.
The part where Rango says. "Try me." after Jake tells him that he doesn't have the guts to pull the trigger. Rango has the face of a man who has nothing left to lose.
This movie is so much, it's a love letter to western films, it's a story about change, about finding who you are. Chameleons are meant to blend in after all.
The chain goes with every badass movie scene
especially fitting for a western.

I watched it before. Multiple times. In my opinion as someone who's literally watched hundreds of films and TV-series/episodes, Rango is in the top 50 of the best films every made hands down. It's at least in the top 3 animated films.
Good plot, beautiful metaphors, great character developments, imaginative visuals and good music.
I love this movie since the first time I washed it which was years ago and everytime I would watch it my whole family would stop whatever they were doing to come and sit down with us and observed this masterpiece

This movie was really ahead of its time imo, it combined two genres that nobody thought would work (spaghetti western and animated animals) and came out with something fun for just about everyone really. An absolute gem of a movie
No one seems to talk about how badass that crow is. He saw Jake, who is basically the devil to these people, and just said,” Hey, I’m gonna shoot this mf.”

The song is talking about people saying they'll never escape (an addiction/abusive relationship/cycle of domestic violence), to "break the chain" is to finally be free of addiction or to not pass on abusive habits to your kids. You want to break the chain, it's a good thing. The voices in the song are the system crab potting the singer saying they'll never escape.
