Jeff Samuels is right on the call
I'm Brazilian and I think this beach is wonderful. It must be great to play there!
debatable call but agreed i think the red hat flopped that hard for the point. the ball had already crossed back over by the time he flopped.
That contact prevented red hat from getting up in time to either cover the ball coming over or pass. For me it was the right call.
I don't understand how going under the net and interfering with the opponent is even debatable.
Contact is allowed. The rule book says that the contact has to impact the players attempt to play the volleyball. It’s highly debatable with this rule being subjective
I agree. You can argue that had there been no contact the player in the red hat could have had the opportunity to get up and cover part of the field or at least be ready to pass. It was the correct call.
1:34 assuming he called four contacts ? I would think the touch/block by the other team, would reset the count
That's what I thought at first too, but I think the call was actually interference. You can see Jeff encroached under the net, hitting red hat guy and causing him to fall. I think Jeff's argument was that, even though he hit red hat, he didn't affect red hat's ability to make a play on the ball.
It didn’t affect his ability to make a play cause the next 2 play wasn’t in his side
Pretty sure you can’t touch the opponent under the net period. Right? And jeff crossed under so hes at fault
@MikeAIright you can, you just can't affect the opponents ability to play the ball for that play. In this case, since the ball went back onto Jeff's side, he was in the right
@@novasedits4764 but the other guy flopped and fell down so he affected the opponent even if the ball wasn't on his side for him to make a play. I have a question hopefully you can answer. If I pass the ball under the net and my setter has to put their hands under the net to get the ball back on our side but my setters hands runs into the opponents blocker who is interfering with who?
Low net?
Nope regulation men’s height
