Thank you for the beautiful tips. I've been in two minds about what looks more elegant, pleated pallu or open. What is your opinion? Also, please can you shed some light on all the types of saris? I love wearing saris but can't really gauge what will go better with a simple sari or a heavy one.

They both look beautiful provided draped correctly.
The right saree depends upon the location, weather n comfort. Do as you please. If it's an occasion then anything grand with zari n work.

Good to know you are a malayalee. I'm watching you recently only from Aluva kerala. Very nice tips. I'm short and healthy but I pay attention toy dressing. I have a craze to wear matching jewellery always including bangles which are artificial put inbetween two gold bangles, is it o.k. or should I stop it as I am 68 yrs old by records, although I don't think so
