They're super talented and everyone has their own projects that are all Nomeansno-influenced, at the very least, and really enjoyable (I'm lucky to have caught'em all live except Pigment Vehicle): Ford Pier has solo stuff, Byron has Invasives, and of course, Colin has Pigment Vehicle. There's no overt Nomeansno influence to Kristy-Lee's band Rong but they're fun too, and great live! I would recommend Ford Pier's album Gormful in Maya or Invasives' album Robot Stink as probably my two favourite records from the Dead Bob penumbra (not counting NMN, of course). Try invasives.bandcamp.com/album/robot-stink fordpier.bandcamp.com/album/gormful-in-maya ...and damn there needs to be some Pigment Vehicle reissues or something, all their stuff is great, too...
Saw them in Portland and it was easily in the top 3 shows I’ve ever seen in 35 years of show-going. Just amazing. Can you imagine how much sweat Ford Pier wrings out of his clothes after one of those shows?
Saw these guys on 5/30/24, SF. Oh my goodness....just incredible. F'ing incredible. Thanks for posting.🤘
