This song feels like the end of summer. Idk how to describe it but that’s what it feels like. You can play this as the closing song of the final scene of a teen movie/show set during summer and it’ll play perfectly

But I'm obviously not gonna call him "Steve" or "Gator" or anything like that, it's just Joe is his real name, and Djo is his stage name. When referring to his acting or just him in general I say Joe, if I'm talking about who sang certain songs and stuff then I say Djo. The way I read the OG comment was like, "Joe Keery never disappoints in music OR acting, etc..."
In 40 years, I could show them this rock and say that the songs from my time were incredible, sounding like they were from my parents' years.

@@kenziekorp349 DJo is just one person, but like many solo artists, he hires people to play the instruments live. An example of a solo artists who has people join him on stage live is Barns Courtney. He's a solo act but opts to hire people to play the instruments live rather than having a prerecorded audio play.
Edit: I should also add, this isn't exclusive to just solo artists. AJR has hired many people to join them on stage, however they aren't members of AJR.

I can relate to that. Left Peru two years ago and am living in Florida now. I have made incredible friends and great progress that I would not trade for anything, but I sometimes wonder what happened to everything I had back there. The family, the friends, the small little corners of the city that I used to frequent. Not in a literal sense, but do they think of me the way I do? do they miss me the way I do? Even though I'm making memories now, I will never forget those little details that took me to this place. It's hard, though, to think that this version of myself doesn't fit there either.

To hear that this song reached to many people since then as it did and still has for me - it truly moves me and I’m proud of DJO. I’ve been a huge fan of him since his previous works and also since Roddy and the whole Twenty Twenty album.

I will not hide that I heard it in tiktok when I open this app for the first time in a long time and after a nervous breakdown and the decision to finally quit a terrible job. Like a breath of air, while I was listening only to sad songs. Well, this one is like the sun has finally touched me after months in the dark and cold. It's so warm in my soul, and the chorus is just something from a rhythmic point of view.
This is definitely their best song so far. There's something about Joe's voice that's just so calming while also being so rock.

This reminds me of growing up in the 80's and I love it.
Gotta say after listening through Decide several times that this is my favourite track. There are some real stellar songs on the album, but this one seems simple on first listen, but it’s got a lot of layers, I feel like it really gets deep into my head after a couple of listens. It’s got this wistfulness to it. I really dig it. It reminded me of the musical outro to Personal Lies, not musically, but the way it made me feel transported, outside myself. Awash in someone else’s feelings. Really amazing feats man.

This entire album is a complete masterpiece but End of The Beginning is always on repeat for me, I genuinely can say this song has saved me on so many occasions. I’ve sobbed to this song feeling the music and the pure emotion in his voice.
